2 tanks, running side-by-side, Logi repair tethered together.
Neddless to say, I was glad to see blue chevrons on them.

In 6 months, I have never seen tanks running repair.
 Just weird.
 And yes, probably OP.

 Remote repping for the win.

I have, and it works just like it does when infantry do it. It is very effective, and you have to target the repping vehicle. LLAV's do this with tanks as well.

In Eve it's called spider tanking. I don't think you can get the same buffer, but you can get more rep/s.

After having a few tanks spider with me I now hav both remote armour and shield reps for the tankers that were kind enough to rep me. Spider tanking is leathal if you have 2 compotent pilots .

Also the cooldown on remote reps is quicker than internal reps and the heavy shield transporter is much better than the internal one . A good combo is a shield tank with remote armour reps and a armour tank with remote shield reps honestly if you havent tryed it give it a go .

Tank trolls (justifiably) calling for true Proto HAVs.
First thing that came to mind were redlined tanks remote repairing, terrain glitching, and stomping my broberries without fear of AV retribution.

This is no cry for nerf, just learning what to prepare for.

If we had proper proto havs most tankers wont have to retreat to red line rail sniping st the sight of 1 proti forge or proto swarm as we do just now.

If you had proper Proto, 25% of a team would have to focus on suppressing 1 HAV.
Which, again, I don't totally oppose in logical theory. But, 2 HAVs on both sides would ruin any game mode that relies on team tactics and objectives.
I don't have a fool proof solution. I don't really have an opinion. I'm going to play the way I want to play with or without buffs or nerfs to any weapon or vehicle.
I respect most players' valid arguments, but in the end I'm just trying to wipe any and all reds off of the map.

Ok, not a QQ'er, but give us tankers a buff? It was people crying about tanks being OP that got us nerfed and made us have to go to the red-line sniper build to begin with. With a buff (which, IDC if it happens, to tell the truth) we'd be more likely to run in the middle of the battle (which I do anyway). Well, I do, after I kill those pesky turrets. Railguns, blasters, missiles. I love those things, after they go boom.

Boohooers got their panties in a knot because they couldn't biomass HAVs with AR/Grenades.
I don't think a buff is the answer.
The SP sink/ISK cost is ridiculous, pretty much for all pilots, from what I see. Cut the cost by half and SP by a third.
I have one fit with Advanced Swarms and Advanced AV grenades. I can 1 clip, or less, half of the vehicles I come across (if they couldn't outrun, outsmart my stupid-fire Swarms)
That shouldn't cost you a week's ISK. Unless you redline.
