I run a 3k isk suit all the time if they run proto I throw a flux and it will show how good u r ;) |

Why do I run Proto in pubs? I worked for it, I don't care about losing it, it's not really that expensive, 100k-ish a setup, plus whatever AUR I have thrown in, that's what, 3 deaths a match and still coming out even? Pffft, nothing, Prototype means nothing to me, if there was a higher, more expensive level of suit, I'd use that too.
Although when I see Officer weapons in pubs I will sacrifice countless proto's just to kill that person once, I'm looking at you Thale users. |

I run nothing but proto in pub matches, why? I have the ISK, and it makes my deaths more meaningful (although the amount of ways to die almost instantly, even in proto gear, is astounding).
EDIT: BTW, I had ~90 million ISK last week, last night I had about 105 million ISK. So why would I want to use lower-end suits when I have no problems making ISK running proto all the time? Yes I go negative somewhat often, but I still either average out to no overall loss, or I gain. |

It's funny how noobs put prototype gear on a ten story tall pedestal like it's the end all be all that somehow makes anyone using a God.
It's really not that much better in most cases, A proto dropsuit fitted with all militia modules will be less effective than an ADV with Advanced to complex module's.
To answer the question....Because I have 13mill SP And 150mill ISK.... Sooo **** it, why not? |

Just take out your LAV when you face squads of top corps. It's awesome when you get to run over their precious proto suits. Watch out because they always have adv and even proto AV (like wyrkomi swarm launchers lol).
