Jakar enters the emissary, looking around and taking genuine interest in the Intaki artifacts around the room. He bows sharply to the others in the room, an act of respect he picked up on earlier in life and came to appreciate more and more over time, even if it wasn't a common act among True Gallenteans.
"Denak," he says. "I came to thank you for your assistance and want to offer you something to show my appreciation. I can transfer some ISK to the emissary's account if you like."
He turns to Kador. "Once again I'm terribly sorry for tonight," he says, bowing once again. |

Denak Kalamari wrote:"You do not have to repay anything, I can sustain myself well enough. I thank you for your gesture though, it is appreciated." he replies as he made his way back to the couch, taking the teacup back to his hands. "And welcome to the emissary." Jakar clearly wishes to push the matter but decides not to as a matter of respect. "Very well, and thank you." Jakar looks around the emissary once again for a brief second.
Jakar notices Kador's tension and ponders the fact that he may walked in at an awkward time. He had barely caught the tail end of a conversation, but had been too caught up in other thoughts to actually hear what was said. Perhaps he should have announced himself. He had decided not to since the emissary was well... an emissary.
True Adamance wrote:As if on cue from the other room, Satja reappears looking distinctly fresher. Her raven black hair is not so tangled and strung out, the dress, though stained with blood now looks less dishevelled, and he face is not so pale returning to the strong sun burned ochre of her people.
She nods politely, bows to Denak and then Jakar.
"I am sorry for what happened in the club Mr Umbra, truly. Such violence has no place here." she says with vigour. As Satja bows to him, Jakar returns the bow.
"Indeed, our dealings as immortals often leaves us jaded to the idea of death. A pity violence finds its place everywhere, especially when it's not welcome," he responds, clearly contemplating on his words.
"Now, I must see to it that everything is ready when The Hex opens tomorrow. I called in to Duvolle to get the security systems upgraded. Hopefully everything sets up nicely and we have no more incidents of the sort. Denak, thank you once again." He looks at the door, then turns back to Denak, remembering the fact that Denak had locked it. "Umm... Denak, if you don't mind?" he gestures toward the door. |

Jakar watches as Denak opens the door for him. He could probably have left, Denak probably only having it locked from the inside, but he figures it's the principle of the matter since he was pretty much invading at this point. He bows. "I hope the incident hasn't turned you away. Feel free to visit anytime you like." With that he leaves, returning directly to the club.
((A sub-plot involving a door. Hmm...)) |
