while there is a complete lack of inbalance, and some very pathetic weapons ingame, I'll stay in my redline. Its a tactic, and part of the map.
now go miss lots of time and get kills anyways in the middle of the map like good lil lemmings. we'll be aiming in from afar, watching you run through buildings, staircase and the ground. |

I mean, how much more expensive is your tank or sniper that its worth more then everyone else's who fights? they can`t fight back. its that clear over advantage that needs to be removed (again, specifics on where, you can still gane points from the redline if you are redlines because its not near where you would be innless you are cowarding further back, up or camping/MCCfarming).
We have to live with what we do, we see facial exressions, fathers, sons, mothers, daughters.... We still pull the trigger, we're not allowed to drink red bull, bounce around, playing with fire works, we don't get to travel around the world. Never had to google directions from start point (A) to destination (B). We don't get to make new battlefield friends, we get hate mail, when we get home. These are all things you take for granted in your little pew pew fights.
Plus have you tried rendering stuff at 400m+ atm, theres a lot more skill now, like watching ghosts, going in and out of walls, appearing then disappearing. To answer your questions Tanks can cost millions. They can fight back, they just chose to come to the forums to counter snipe. An over advantage would be a shielded Caldari with his tard card flaylock vs anything he wants(saw a flaylock hit an assault dropship yesterday, and the dropship went out of controll!!, or Proto AV versus our STD tanks. You say cowards with the balls of 8yr olds, maybe I shall reply with Blouse toating, lilly livered little baby, with little wagh wagh tears(snipers collect these)
End of the day: Redline snipers CAN BE COUNTER SNIPED, watched a thale go down via an assault dropship last night. I've had - Orbitals, LAV suicide missions, 4 dropships dive bomb me at once, a team of snipers come after me, even forum QQ threads. Rail gun tankers: Supress them, suicide La dai missions, rail gun them back or even make a QQ thread on the forums. Don't want to get sniped, atm thats easy, don't stop moving. Don't want to be railed, dont drive your crappy lav's or somas in a straighlin towards the enemy redline. Thales are priceless. |

I asked the very same question for the 1st part of this entire thread, the OP

the flaylock thing is right, just as against that btw, made a few threads. ADS on sniper who was where 9I assume in the redline but where there) this is possible but location is kinda the argument here. 4 ADS sure, n divebomb at once? well, not like that could have happened without them crashing, if it was a true dive bomb they would be slowing down either by aiming there nose up and get a little swing or 2) by spiraling down which they all would die from the cause of crashing, 1) they can still die easily from but not as easily.
EDIT (forgot to mention rendering) I`m fully aware of rendering as a pilot and I`ve kept tabs on how well they can see / shoot me on the maps, Ashland / launch site (the space shuttle map) is the highlight of the issue since only objects can keep me safe. I`ve kept tabs both on railgun tanks in the redline and the railgun installations which is why I also made that railgun case to move them in a more logical place.
It was 4 drop ships, militia bs ones, all drivers committed to their deaths, bye bye Thales. For them it would have been worth it. |

Revelations 514 wrote:Remove the red line. It is not needed. It does not prevent a team from totally dominating a map. It only provides a mechanic for abuse. It's either that or make the red line the same boundaries for each team, which would cause more problems with initial spawn in and MCC locale.
Snipers don't need a nerf, but they don't need a redline either. If I walk my ass to the edge of the map to get you, isn't that punishment enough? Do I need a suicide and hot countdown on top of it?
Besides you still have high buildings and other advantageous positions to exploit. You simply need teamwork to get there. Telling me to counter snipe, (not specced into sniping), a sniper who is specced into sniping; is the exact same as me telling you to call in a dropship to get to your "untouchable" position. All this with the added benefit of removing the other exploitable mechanics of the red line.
I think CCP will remove it one day, I just hope it's sooner than later.
Its not abusing any mechanic, thats our side of the map, what you consider redline, for me isn't. I am playing within the area given. Next are we gunna ask for tanks not to go on towers, remove all height, obstacles, distance from the game. You people want a round room with your dinner in the center? I don't.

Flaylock is a crutch, Caldari are a crutch. Sniping is using a weapon that is accurate at long ranges, and using it at long ranges. Red line doesn't change that fact. |

no 4 pilots+4 drop ships = splat-1 Thale's, can't remember corp name now, but I'll ask my friend he couldn't stop laughing at me. |

maybe..dunno, theres a few SGT buttxxxxxxx names, buttcheeks, buttcheese etc. Still something I am learning, is module and rep timing versus actual tankers. Mos the time I come up against somas or sicas who basically jump out their tank, so not much training there
Also yes, the pilots squished me, if i remember rightly 1 of the pilots missed by a bout 30-40ft, but 3 of em for definate splatted me and themselves into the mountainside |
