I am sure we'll have future triple Sp events, especially when there is new things to go try out or re-experience.

I hope it's like this. That way when new stuff comes out that you want you will at least be able to jump into advanced level pretty much immediately. It would pretty much suck having something new come out and you having to either horde your sp beforehand or grind for weeks to be able to use it effectively.

It also gives ccp feedback sooner and from more sources so is better for the game as a whole.

Don't be naive. SP is an integral part of the game.


And yes, I did enjoy the triple SP event but that probably is a little bit further down the pipeline.

As the topic says it all, lets have another round! There were more ambush games, skirmish games etc etc going on... people were logging in to play and NOT afk in the MCC as often!

That's because the SP is the only reward really that the game distributes... Dust corps are only there to make more ISK.. They provide no extra benefits. There are no quests nor active story for a player to follow.( lore is not an active story because the player is in no way involved unless they pretend they are-through role playing) and the environments are unattractive at best, yet you wonder why increased SP increases player involvement?

This game in its current state could be likened to how World of Warcraft would be if there was no player storyline, no quests, no crafting, no resource gathering, severely reduced item drops, and no PvP... Where the only means of progression would be mindless grinding of world mobs. If said players were told they could pass 2 weeks worth of grinding in one week, they'd go nuts over it because...there is nothing else to do.

I strongly disagree with everyone saying there should be a triple SP event in conjunction with new stuff being released. What's the point of having standard gear available when all regularly active players can get the advanced in mere hours?

Standard should be just what it is. Standard. What most use. Advanced is something you can get after a quite long while. Prototype should be available first after a VERY long while, and even then it should be so expensive that you mostly don't want to use it. Kinda the idea of what things are.
