Caldari, frankly. In it's current form it can get some absurd tank going with Complex Extenders in high. Low slots can support an Energiser, some biotics for mobility and CPU/PG Boosters to fit better stuff in elsewhere. It doesn't necessarily sacrifice all that much to gain it's renowned toughness.
The hammer is gonna fall on it at some point, though.
Gallente is a pretty solid choice for taking heaps of Proto Equipment into the fight but lose out on Caldari and Minmatar mobility, less biotics and more plates. BUT, as part of a defensive emplacement with fellow armour tankers they do pretty great on account of Allotek Nanohives and Wiyrkomi Triage Nanohives. Former is ammo and +40 repair, latter is +70 repair. Both wide area, come in packs of 3. Can make themselves and fellow armour absurdly sustainable against most incoming damage, the real bane of these strategies is grenade bombardment however so look out for that.
Minmatar are balanced and fast. 2/2/2, 3/3/3, 4/4/4 from STD to Proto. Less durable in a straight up fight but I like their speed and innate hacking bonus. Personally use it to get nanohives and uplinks to where they'd benefit the team most using that mobility. Despite being balanced it's possibly the least conventional Logi? It's good for rapid flanking strikes to support the team so there's a bit of an aggressive edge to it. Don't have to use it that way but it's a strength to be acknowledged. It's partly because I've not skilled into a light weapon but Assault Scrambler Pistols have actually been working alright with it. Great for rapidly laying down damage in a firefight with some rapid headshots then getting out of there. Being able to speed tank is also great even if you're playing entirely defensively.
Amarr... hmm. Less PG, that's bad. Less equipment slots, also bad. Less slots in general, aw hell. For your purposes not so great. It's also slowest Logi. Sidearm at Proto which is actually very nice, but... it's Proto only. Advanced and Basic don't get the sidearm but still get penalised on equipment. |

Thank you for the informative post, decided Minnie logi, goes with my playstyle. Last question is...what weapon should I run with it? Hmm, the boring but practical answer is probably AR.
Scrambler Rifles I'd actually prefer but they have a higher PG requirement.
Mass Drivers with Flux Grenades gives you the ability to contribute to your squad's firepower in a bombardment and area denial capacity. Minmatar speed can also enable breaking off from the squad briefly to rapidly get somewhere overlooking the enemy your squad's engaging. A Quantum Active Scanner can help a great deal in verifying how feasible it is to do this, in fact the scanner's just an under appreciated boon in general if you've the room to fit it. |

Go Minmatar if you want a balanced, all purpose logi suit with speed and hacking. Go Gallente if you are going full logibro and using proto equipment a good amount of the time. I would suggest you read The Logi Code. Guide to Logi Success. for a fully detailed and comprehensive guide to logis. Hope this helps. Ah, my mistake. 'Least it was an underestimate rather than an over.
