Hi CCP (and the community at large),
Every so often, something horrible happens. I get shot, run over, blown up, or simply fall to my death. Unfortunate, I know.
Other times, I am the one doing the shooting or the blowing up... but never the running over, because I'm not a game-breaking prick (/rage).
That being said, I would be interested in seeing a record of all my kills and deaths.... by weapon type, and see the damage I've done over time with each.
Also... to see a record of my greatest nemesis, and the corp that has killed me the most. And perhaps get bonus WP or something when I am able to kill this hated individual.
You might even be able to tie trophies to these stats... get a bronze-level trophy with 100 kills from a certain weapon, silver from 500 kills, and so on.
I know that you're aggregating the stats, because you've shown us output when discussing the TAC AR changes a couple of months back. So.... can we see them for ourselves at an individual level? Or at least get an API so that the community can develop a killboard similar to BattleClinic in EVE, and take the burden off CCP's hands?

If there's one thing I've learned from nearly 8 years of playing EvE, it's that CCP loves any reason to show us graphs. I'm all for graphs, charts, data tables, whatever floats your boat.

Possibly, but the community seems to have an easy enough time QQ'ing currently. At least now they will be able to QQ with stats!
All joking aside, seeing charts and stats will help spot abnormalities. Take the Flaylock. This is a sidearm, not a primary weapon. If this sidearm is getting significantly more kills than other sidearms, and even more kills than many primary weapons, this is a good argument for balance. If the Flaylock gets as many kills as the SMG, then it may not be so unbalanced after all. Won't know unless we see the data. |
