If you're going to try to talk logic in a video game about 4 races who can endlessly clone their consciousnesses into different bodies while fighting on different planets of all equal gravities across the galaxy, you're going to have a pretty hard time.
This is a video game. Video games need balance to be fun. A simple and crazy effective balance to get the light vehicle to be used as I'd imagine as intended (otherwise all that rendering and coding of the turret was just for kicks) would be much better than the current system. |

lol your wrong I don't fit into either category... been playing since jan 23.... I run a logi suit w/ shotgun 2 types of remote explosives and a repper and when im not running ppl over im running from point to point resetting my explosives or going to a depot to re up or using my LAV to close in quick for a quick shotty kill when someone gets behind cover from my LAV or has taken out my REs blah blah blah etc etc etc.... point is your perception of the game is narrow which leads me to believe you are in fact a newberry yourself who has simply ended up as roadkill too many times....
murder taxis aren't a problem.... lack of proper AV fits are.... and CCP blam is....
although I will say this the free LAV needs to go.... it needs to be replaced with like a hoverbike or some such.... |

Yes, this seems to be the general consensus. The militia LAV's now have been pretty much countered by people adapting and packing AV. Having said that, the LLAV's are really impossible to destroy barring a concerted effort, which I think is disproportionate in regards to their vehicle class. |
