I was reading the thread on CCP Mintchip and videos, and saw it noted that you guys can't play on your dev characters. I think it would increase player morale a bit if you jumped into a battle every now and then and saw a dev repping you, had the opportunity to blow up a dev's HAV, etc. I realize you guys have alts that you play on, but it'd be really exciting if you played the characters that we all know. This wouldn't be specifically in an event like a dev roam, either, but just a random battle here and there that would give us a chance to interact. |

Dude, that would be awesome, like when we use to see devs in Jove boats in Eve. That, and it would feel nice to watch people dump on them in a tiny fraction of the way they dump on us with their "balancing."
In all seriousness, though, this would be great, would show that the devs do in fact play their own game and have an understanding of how it bloody works.

well they do play their own game on alts, but even if you have a dev with some dev hacks so he has like 4 proto suits of different races that he can just show off, that way people that don't know what to spec into could see the suits in action. now i'm not saying they need to dev hack for an unbeatable all proto mods prot suit, but a decent enough one to represent different aspects of the game. maybe you see a DEV with a plasma cannon that does decent so a few people decide to do that, then we see less AR and a couple more plasma cannon's in the game. it could really balance the game, and they wouldn't even need to change anything.

Rockstar games has events where you can play with/against devs. I participated on those events in Red Dead Redemption game and they were really popular and fun. Also good way to show bugs and such in realtime and give player feedback. Rockstar even has different events for different platforms and time zones (mainly US and Euro). |

I too would like to see the DEVs in game, at the very least the Community reps should be visibly active on DUST. It was good to play with some DEVs from Zipper whilst in the MAG beta. More events like the one mentioned where DEVs were "agents" would be great for the community. |

I guess I just meant random pub matches. Sure, it's cool when a dev goes out for an event, but if I hopped on this weekend and randomly saw one of the devs I'd be starstruck and unable to aim straight. |

they would need to do dev hacks to get isk to support all of their deaths, because i know that i would only go after them even if they were on my team. |
