How long will it take you folks... Foxfour and Nullabor are not suit/weapon/map design/balancing. They are the Eve/Dust link team.

If they work with maps it might have something to do with the upcoming Space Elevator/Crane Map.

If they work with weapons it'd have to be Eve-link oriented, like how orbitals are rewarded.

If they work with dropsuits, it'd possibly have something only to do with how the market works or trading would work with them. Stats themselves wouldn't be True Grit.

A good logi knows how to do both.

That makes it worse >_< It's why a lot of the top players run logi, you can slay just as well, and still collect OODLES of WP off of your equipment.

The logi medic has certainly changed. It seems like slowly but surely the role is coming back to what it used to be, but the nanite injector mechanism being broken for so long destroyed that side of being a medic in big time corps.

You just don't see them being used in PC battles. You immediately spawn in with a proto uplink rather than wait to get picked up. The seconds are too vital if taking or holding an objective.

I hope that you are able to communicate the REAL role of a logi at the moment. Everyone is QQing about the "assault logi" that everyone is doing right now. You would be hard pressed to find more than 1 maybe 2 traditional logi medics on the field for one team in a PC battle. Logis are bringing other things to the fight though. The CPU and PG necessary to bring the uplinks and nanohives that are so vital to the fight is being done with "assault logis". The number of guys not bringing uplinks, hives, or remote explosives are minimal, you can tank a logi suit without having to give up equipment slots.

Moral of the story, don't let them nerf logis just because a bunch of scrubs on the forums think a logi has to have a repair tool out.

I agree, though I also feel that they should be brought more in line with a Support role rather than being uber-assault, I am a Logi, I know what we are still capable of.

If I run a proto triage only hive, I can repair an entire squad while providing ammo. I'll even drop a proto uplink for the bros that didn't make it.

All the while providing cover while they get their crap together on my hub of awesomeness.

If that's not support, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I can lay down two of the proto triages at the feet of a heavy and he's posted up the same as if a rep tool is on him. It's not hard to wrap your head around. If it's a heavy squad you need a standard logi medic and a dude like me in there that can provide support WITH a gun in hand.

Logi has around the same eHP thanks to the extra slot, with an assault rifle you don't really need that sidearm, that 0.3 speed difference isn't even noticeable, so you only gain equipment slots and lose nothing.

We already have a large number of community reps that provide minimal value to the player base. In all seriousness, how is your paycheck going to contribute to making the in game experience of players less poor than it currently is? Why will my next match be better now that CCP have spent money on you?

When patch notes come out a couple of days before the patch and patch blogs are written by the senior dev and the CPM are not permitted to tell us anything; how will you "keep you up to date on what's going on in the world of DUST 514 and New Eden" any better than the last rep?
