Its projectile goes straight through enemy troops it only explodes if it hits their feet. I tested this on stationary targets in academy. |

That may be so but it needs bugs like these fixed so you can actually see how balanced it is. |

Same thing used to happen with the MD. You HAD to shoot at their feet. I can now put one in their chest, but if too close its instant suicide and they live. If you hit too close on the ground, it'll kill both of you. It's weird. |

2 words, hit detection. The gun shoots fine, i have hit center mass countless times. I have shot people jumping out of dropships. The only thing wrong with it is the misfiring and what you are experiencing is failure in hit detection. |

Most of the time it does, it's just far more finicky than it needs to be, at a guess I'd say you're aiming too low as apparently legs are immune to giant balls of plasma. |

And it needs a different radical, can't judge the fall off with the current one, needs either gradicals at set distances etc |

In academy, guy hacking supply depot, hadnt noticed me, I was 2m to his left, I stood still, I aimed, lined it up perfectly to his body, fired and it just shot straight through his body and out the other side with no damage caused.
That wasnt the first and last time it happened either. |

Heh, I never said it was perfect. Hopefully CCP have a proper look at the plasma cannon and fix all the bugs it has. |
