The idea is to have light dropsuit specialization meant to be a glass cannon. No equipment slot, perhaps the same slot layout as the basic light, but has one more high slot than its basic frame counterparts to fit damage mods. It should have a higher signature radius akin to medium suits, and slower shield recharge than scouts and basic lights.
Striker specialization bonus: +2% handheld handheld damage per level
Gallente striker bonus: +5% reload speed to all hybrid plasma weapons Minmatar striker bonus: +5% reload speed to all projectile weapons
When we get Amarr and Caldari lights. Caldari striker bonus: +5% reload speed to all hybrid railgun weapons Amarr striker bonus: +5% reload speed to all laser weapons |

i would call it "stalker" instead of "striker" but i like the idea. Every frame should have a 3rd class, medium miss the grenadier. Heavy have sentinel,commando and miss another (maybe the commander?) Light have scouts,pilots and the 3rd (stalker or striker) |

the [DEV] commando suit hidden in that uprising spreadsheet they released all quick like had stats that would make it a medium frame specialty.
Also this specialization for some reason doesn't seem radically different enough to me, to be honest. Like, for the Gallente striker, it'd just be a shotgun scout gk.0 but with either 66 more EHP or a little more damage on the shotgun (although faster shotgun reload would be welcome). For the minmatar striker it'd be either a slightly better shotgun scout with bonuses to flaylock sidearms, or a MD scout but MD and scout are generally opposite playstyles so that'd be weird. Also the bonuses are basically identical across the board and ignore the difference inherent in the racial suits and weapons.
Personally once cloaking comes out I'd like to see a more CQC focused scout class, so I like the idea, but the bonuses are iffy, and the drawbacks feel like too much.
for starters, if anything, cloaky scouts should have slower shield recharge, to encourage selective hit & run
so maybe something more like, keep the equipment slot & the shield recharge, increase the signature slightly, and then make them something like this:
Striker/Stalker/whatevr bonus: +2% to sprint speed (or +2% to light weapon damage)
gk.0: one less low slot, one more high slot gk.0 bonus: +5% to light weapon reload speed
mk.0: same slot layout, but increase EHP to be closer to the current base gallente scout EHP mk.0 bonus: -5% to shield recharge delay
I don't know what the other ones will look like so I'm not going to speculate

OP, that suit would be maybe a bit too good as a Swarm platform.
Perhaps the 'all handheld weapons' could be tweaked, something like 'all rifle weapons'. |
