The problems with the nanite injector have been pretty well covered, so I will skip most of that. Despite being fixed they still aren't used often or that well from what I have seen.
Nanite injectors should be changed to or added as a Module/Dropsuit Upgrade that will allow anyone to come and revive them when they die. Basically, the person dead could have the item that allows them to be revived instead of just the person reviving them.
To keep people from reviving you in danger, it could be handled like a short hack, to make your suit revive you, so they have to come stand in danger themselves longer if they want the WP and this could serve as a way to make carrying an injector a safer/faster option over the module.
I would like to also see a chance for the suit to auto revive you near the end of your bleed out, based on skill maybe. This will give players a reason to go make sure enemies are dead and will let players killed from random damage have a chance to get back up. Adding a limit to how often it can auto revive, based on skill as well, would probably be a good idea.
Allowing enemy players to hack a dying player would be cool, maybe having the hack reveal the other players team for the remaining duration of the bleed out. Not entirely off topic, because the hack mechanic would work both ways easy.
It could work well if this ability was added to anyone carrying a nanite injector, so that at least the medics could be revived by anyone and still making a hack mechanic for the enemy to use.
Another idea is for the nanite injector to cause you to remain at the revive amount of armor for a few seconds as a kind of spawn protection. This makes sense probably, because you were just injected with nanites to heal you.
Regardless of any new module/upgrade:
There should be an option to accept or decline any revive.
When calling for help there should be some sort of noise/sound/alert directed at any one in close range that can revive.

Just like to point that out again, since it seems every time someone is bringing up logis they expect them to run around reviving and reping as their only role, which isn't the case.
Any one of you can carry a repair tool or injector with you. I think instead of requiring someone to revive people, each person should have a lesser option to be revived by anyone near by. Why should a futuristic game have the same revive mechanics as world war 2 fps games?
