If you wish to spread knowledge of the Federation, try so without copying the official propaganda statements. Describe the world you see.
Respectfully, Mr. Issa, the documents he is quoting from are largely neutral in both tone and content ... once you get past his first few paragraphs.
A few citations or links would probably be appropriate, so we (and True Adamance) can weigh the quality of the sources. Some of them are, at the very least, a little out of date. |

If you are attempting to persuade, either directly or by providing data that you believe will prove persuasive, clarity and accessibility is precisely your problem, soldier. |

Then we might presume that you are well aware that your source is years out of date? It appears to have been last updated shortly after the ascent of Jacus Roden. Presumably, politics have shifted somewhat, since, particularly with the mixed results of the Federal effort to retake Caldari Prime.
As a resource for general understanding, this is a little less dated, perhaps. |

The public datastores contain a great deal of useful information, but are cross-referenced poorly. Some of them even appear contradictory. There are articles on the demographics of three of the four major empires (as above, plus the Caldari and Amarr; I'm not sure why there is no equivalent article for the Minmatar Republic), as well as on certain religious customs and views of death. ... Among, I'm sure, other things I haven't found yet.
Actually, collecting links for this post, I found a few more.

With respect, soldier, Mr. Issa and I are both Achura. We're a Caldari client culture with, as you can maybe tell, a taste for intellectualism.
We're also very spiritual, in our own way, but it's not a faith that's really quite comparable to that of the Amarr. |

It is good to have a variety of associates, I suppose.
If it is your intent to suggest that Mr. Issa and I are catspaws speaking on behalf of the Amarr, Void Echo, then I can only suggest that you note that our remarks to the Amarr have not been uncritical.
We are perhaps more critical of the Gallente, with whom our patrons are at war, but we have reason to fear True Adamance and his fellow templars. He, personally, may see all faiths as one, but the policy of the Amarr is to expand. Our faith is not theirs, and we are rather fond of the one we have.
I am, at least. I do not speak for Mr. Issa, directly, of course. |

Assault Rifle doesn't require aiming to kill. Blast Radius for assault rifle confirmed in 1.4 via O'Dell. Oh-ho. Well, it -is- a plasma weapon. Lethal splash is to be expected, but it's only really been a threat to exposed tissue and combustibles up until now. I suppose they just worked out how to configure the magnetic containment to vent into its surroundings at dropsuit-piercing levels of intensity as it collapses.
Edit:
I'd be surprised if they managed to make it very powerful, though. |
