Champions of liberty by denying others freedom.
If you wish to spread knowledge of the Federation, try so without copying the official propaganda statements. Describe the world you see. |

I did this for true adamance, he wanted me to show him the facts, so im showing the facts You showed him a wall of words with little meaning. You could of rather pointed him to your sources and given analysis. What part about any of that is anyone supposed to focus on, exactly? |

If you wish to spread knowledge of the Federation, try so without copying the official propaganda statements. Describe the world you see. Respectfully, Mr. Issa, the documents he is quoting from are largely neutral in both tone and content ... once you get past his first few paragraphs. A few citations or links would probably be appropriate, so we (and True Adamance) can weigh the quality of the sources. Some of them are, at the very least, a little out of date. Understandably, I am simply pointing out that what he wrote is nothing more than copied word-for-word entries on existing documents that also do not provide entirely accurate information. These records are publicly available to all men and women, he is essentially handing us an encyclopedia and leaving. What point is our Mister Echo trying to make here? If he is trying to make an informative argument on behalf of the Federation it would be better suited with either original words from his own perspective or an analysis on such existing documents. |

Quote:your not a man unless you fly either a Gallente ship or a Minmitar ship a quote I found on some other website. as it turns out, the Gallente are the most widely and openly supported by the pilots of new eden The ability to read information and comprehend it are not one and the same. I am not accusing you of lack of understanding, but nothing in your original posts provide any evidence of such. Furthermore, if you believe in these viewpoints you must be prepared to bring the evidence. Furthermore, a quote without a source no credible value. |

If it is your intent to suggest that Mr. Issa and I are catspaws speaking on behalf of the Amarr, Void Echo, then I can only suggest that you note that our remarks to the Amarr have not been uncritical. We are perhaps more critical of the Gallente, with whom our patrons are at war, but we have reason to fear True Adamance and his fellow templars. He, personally, may see all faiths as one, but the policy of the Amarr is to expand. Our faith is not theirs, and we are rather fond of the one we have. I am, at least. I do not speak for Mr. Issa, directly, of course. My appreciations, Yun Hee.
With regards to the Amarr, they are a marvelous civilization. I hold them in great prestige due to their profound belief in spirituality and gracious acceptance of all men and women. However, they find their spirituality not by seeking the answers to understanding the universe but rather by blind faith, and though they will welcome anyone among their society they do so through harsh assimilation which washes away countless accounts of the universe through the perspective of other cultures. It is for this reason I am thankful the Caldari State was the ones to find us; letting us preserve our culture while providing security and all the while sharing the same passion for understanding the universe, though admittedly for different reasons. |
