So...Heavy is for point defense and HMG is for CQC... yet if I play with a mouse at sensitivity 100, I can't horizontally track a running Medium suit guy because they are faster. I can only pray that they stop moving. See the bullshit you have done here CCP? |

Id love a scout suit to have 800 ehp but that wouldn't make much sense either. I'm talking about TURNING speed not walking speed. turning speed is a disadvantage in CQB. Period. Say whatever you want it's stupid and unfair. |

I was talking about turning speed dude, it would again make no sense if they could zip left to right like a fly yet couldn't move forwards or backwards like that. They are generally slow, if they had insane tracking speeds everybody would be FGin like a boss. Yeah...except in this game strafing and tracking is the key in CQB. Heavy can't strafe (that's fine) and they can't track really well either. Not being able to track running targets is unacceptable. WTF is a Heavy supposed to do? Stand and shoot but not hit anything? This is a FPS, not a stupid RPG with RPG "attributes" like this. If CCP wants people to play Heavy they need to fix this crap. |

If you're going to restrict a heavy in the same way you restrict a tank, then heavies should BE a ******* tank. Currently they aren't.
So equal rights, or better buffs. I agree they need better buffs to armour and if caldari every see heavies before arthritis takes my hands, better shields. This is how I see heavies should be http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Terminator_Armour#.UeFcqEJwZjoTheir not fast, not nimble, but your not gonna headshot them either or have a few dudes break them in seconds. They are walking tanks of destruction. So yea give them a damn buff instead of right now, where they are frankly ****** medium suits with more ehp. That's because Assault fags complained nonstop about Heavies being effective at what they were always meant to be effective. (and flamethrowers? yes pls <3) |

Try being a nk scout an have a heavy jump an run circles an out strafe you = BS I don't care about strafing speed, I'm talking about turning speed (tracking speed as I call it). |

Heavy Breaks wrote:IMHO heavies need this ridiculous movement speed affecting turn speed removed more than most classes to actually make them effective in all combat situations.
Even on point defence a medium suit can literally run through your stream of fire, get behind you and go to town on your ass. Hell a speed hacker can even get a point hack off before you can turn round to kill him.
In open play its a joke as as previously stated strafing is a winner against us fatties.
Just to be reasonably effective I personally give up using complex plates in favour of reps and reactive plates, so I can keep my gun on a target. Staying still and unleashing on choke points is no longer viable due to the new trend in explosives, getting 2/3 shotted by a sidearm with near 1400EHP is beyond a joke.
I can still bang with the best of them, but it's getting very boring and hard work just to do my job. Just hang in there until Flaylock gets nerfed and Mass Driver gets a smaller clip. |

I think that's your main problem right there. You are defining the HMG as a CQC weapon when it clearly isn't intended to be.I always looked at the HMG as a 20~50 meter support weapon. Yeah except you can't damage any **** beyond 10 meters. I'm not saying I like the fact HMG is defined as a CQC weapon, but that is what CCP is doing with it, |
