Good gunners (also a great pilot) like Richie up there a few comments above are helped by also being pilots. When gunning he knows when the pilot has found a safe spot, or is lineing him up or when a swarm bump is incoming.
People have to learn to gun. Give them some time and lea-way. Unless they start spamming bulltets as soon as they sit down. Hate that (there is a gunning video on the way to try address this Why thank you +1 for you my good fellow! |

Your making me doubt my choice for caldari now :P I wouldnt bother with dmg mods for ds go for as much hp as possible thts what i do and it seems to work also i try to keep my fitting cost down i my cheapest fit is around 600k w/ a neutron blaster on my python |

personally i use a scattered neutron blaster despite the stabilized having more range as i don't feel it worth the extra isk for the ion or the extra range being much more beneficial. |

I've kind of got it down... my main problem is doing a tight turn and forgetting about that massive building to the next of me... You will slowly get a better idea of each map's building locations.I recommend playing ambush as you play lots of maps in a short time. |

Questions from a new pilot who is mostly upside down seconds after takeoff:
1) Your ship has cross-hairs; is this because its an assault ship? I'm trying to fly in the militia scrub ship since its cheaper and it doesn't have cross-hairs, but they look like a good reference point. Just wanted to check it wasn't a setting I'd missed.
2) Your ship seems very responsive. Again, is the responsiveness of your ship due to it being non-militia?
3) Any skills you'd recommend? Thinking of setting up an alt as a pure pilot. NB: Just watched the second video to the end, and answered my own questions. Must remember to watch first and ask questions after in future... 3) is still valid mind... Two things: the main skills to get are proto turrets i recommend missile for newbies blaster come later and getting complex mods for your ds or ads. so lvl 4 pg upgrade -very useful lvl 2 cpu upgrade lvl 5 missile turrets lvl 5 shield upgrades i would recommend dooing it in that order aswell w/ lvl 4 pg upgrade and lvl 3 boosters and extenders the primary goal
also i would also specing into shield tanks to run in ambush only to gain isk.- although it may be better to have another alt for that. |

Who can see the logi dropship as a spawn point? Are there limitations? ( I know a pilot must be in the vehicle but can the who.e team use it?) is there an operational ceiling (altitude) limit?

I believe there is a bug t the moment that only allow people to spawn in you ds if they are perma dead (cannot be revived) you might want to try that next time. |

Make a alt skill into Shield/armour upgrades dont start using a ADS until you have at least 1 mil invest into shield/armour upgrade tree 2 mill prefered First get survivability then go for dmg (turrets) Aim for lvl 3 in shield upgrades and shield extension then i would go for lvl 4 vehicle engineering to get power diagnostics. |
