Qualifying actions : Destroying enemy turrets.
Unless someone can link a post from a dev specifically saying neutral turrets count, currently they dont. |

Do you really think CCP, at this point, could/would implement a code that specific to only count enemy turrets and not just every "Turret Installation Destruction +100" ?
I'm not sold. |

I wish someone would just give us a straight answer regarding this. I think this is a great event, and I'm having fun completing it, but it would really burn to find out that my eighty something installation kills are more like twenty.
The DEV that answers this conclusively will have my eternal bacon |

No such thing as a straight answer from CCP... im sure they dont even know if neutral installations count for this. |

Eterne's comment was in no way even close to being satisfactory. Remamber just before the 3x SP event when the told us "oh yah sure, you can play on wedensday it won't effect your 3x cap at all. Then what happend? Sure they fixed it, but who knows what will happen with this one? Maybe the only people who will get the proper rewards will be those who get "enemy" kill, and then it will take then a month or two to deploy a fix that gives out rewards to the other people who were duped, or just go back and say "oh well, it was supposed to be enemy kills all along".
Don't get me wrong CCP, I love you guys and all, but I trust you about as far as I could kick ya.
Please tell us exactly what it is that we need to do to complete this event. |

CCP Please clarify. Do the turret kills have to be enemy/red turrets or can they be neutral/yellow turrets?

Yes, neutral/yellow turrets will count toward the completion of this event.
No, turrets must be enemy controled (red) in order for them to count toward this event.
CCP please hurry. The clock is ticking. |

Well here's hoping this assurance isn't false like the whole 3x SP thing, 'strafing is totally like it's always been' and 'Mass Driver splash wasn't changed in 1.2'.
A slew of statements that turned out to be false in a short span doesn't engender trust in future assurances.
Though in this case I imagine it flags off of the same prompt which triggers +100 WP for installation destruction. It would appear there isn't a differentiation between neutral and enemy when it comes to that so it should be fine if it's piggybacking off of that same system. Bracing for disappointment can't hurt, though. |
