I ran a couple of simulations with this suit and so far this dropsuit is only useful in it's initial encounter (STD Commando is useless btw). After losing all shields the suit becomes an expendable asset due to its shield regen of 10hp/s. The only way to make this a "little" more durable is to put on a armor plate and have a mix of these: (1) a friendly with a rep tool, (2) sacrifice space for a Complex Shield Recharger/Energizer, and (3) sacrifice space for a Allotek Nanohive (R). Keep in mind that nobody will be using a rep tool frequently in PC matches so option (1) is pub match only. Option (3) is the only thing that will keep you alive a "little longer" in the next difficult encounter in PC, after loosing shields, but not enough. To not add a plate is to forfeit the asset because 312 armor left (assuming you received rep) with around 40-70 shields regenerated from a encounter makes it too easy for most players to finish him off. I get the idea that I have to sacrifice something for extra firepower but this suit simply has no survivalbility and is only useful at a distance, oh and let's not forget the big hitbox on the suit.
My recommendation to fix the suit is to simply raise the shield regen to at least 17hp/s. This tweak will make the suit significantly better, the truth is we don't have use for a dropsuit that entirely lacks survivalbility (smart players want save ISK and stay alive to defend/attack objectives).

They're a farce as they are. |

I already am, and boy does my LAV make me invincible. |

Unfortunately the time it takes to get all shields back is longer than the Sentinel and in heated battles it is important that I get back to the fight as quickly as I can (pretty much why I see so many Caldari users in PC ). |

I sure hope this isn't their intention. |
