Aren't you already getting points for rezzing, repping, dropping hives and uplinks, when your squad go after these enemies you spotted?

A rather narrow minded view isn't it? I personally run assault and I use the active scanner, I also would not mind a reward.

As for the OP's comment on GÇ£No margin for errorGÇ¥ being useseless, it isn't. I have seen GÇ£Some margin of errorGÇ¥ only once, but I believe this is down to nobody having skills or modules in profile dampening.

Narrow minded? I answered the OP based SPECIFICALLY on HIS role in the game, not roles in general.

It should be fairly obvious that other people use this piece of kit, and that the OP's situation is not the only one that could ever happen. Think about options before you post. I hope you have learned something this day. As for vehicle scanners I agree with the previous poster who said the scanners feel like 30m, they really don't stretch too far.
