If Heth had known who controlled these events, the outcomes of the vast galaxy we live in, if he'd asked God for guidance he never would've failed and faltered like he did.
Let Heth be a reminder to you all, remember who is almighty, who controls every outcome and decision that is made and who can bring take you down from power just as quickly as bring you up. That is all.
Respectfully, templar, these words might be best used in a gathering of your fellows.
The Caldari-- your Empire's allies, please forgive me for reminding you-- have their own faith, and while the former executor may have many faults, there is no reason to believe that a lack of devotion to the Way of the Winds is among them.
It may be, however, that his pride was too great for him to hear anything the Winds might have otherwise taught him. Still, it seems likely that he asked, whether or not he was prepared to listen. |

Heth was not fit to command your loyalties, he was not good for your state, you will adapt and you will conquer your weakness as you have always done.
Respectfully, templar, Fae-haan's anger is not over the quality of the former executor. It is over the notion that Heth-hnolku should have heeded the god of a foreign power.
The Caldari do not accept interference from outsiders in their society. Even we Achura, though clients of the Caldari, are not permitted to live among them unless we convert wholly to Caldari beliefs and way of life. The Gallente sought to change them-- seek to change them still. And that, the Caldari will neither forget nor, probably, forgive.
Your colleague has casually replicated that mistake, suggesting that the Caldari should be ruled by the Amarrian god. While I can understand these ideas, and even see how they are inevitable, it would be politic to keep them to yourselves.
The Caldari are your allies, and it is an alliance under some strain by its very nature. Your culture and faith, forgive me, are aggressive by their nature (aggressively benevolent, perhaps, from your own perspective, but aggressive even so).
If you wish the State's support, you would be wise not to remind the Caldari of that more than you must. |

You seem to value life highly, soldier. Respectfully, it seems as though there is a contradiction between this and, apparently, spoiling for further war.
The Caldari cheered the conquest of Caldari Prime. They may be willing to accept its present demilitarized condition, at least for now, but they were behind Heth-hnolku on the day he took back their home. They most definitely do not love the Federation; the State was literally founded in rebellion against the Federation.
There is a chance, perhaps, with Heth's fall, for the Federation and State to achieve a lasting peace. Might trying to nurture that peace not be a more sensible step, if you detest the costs of war? |

You're right, I do but it seems obvious that to bring down a calculating machine like the Caldari, who care more for numbers, money and...A piece of land than for life...That some blood has to be shed. At least for a time. Protecting peace by preparing for war, rather poetic, that.
There is a difference, respectfully, between preparing for war and beating the drums, soldier. With further respect, you seem to have listened rather too well to Federal propaganda where the Caldari are concerned.
It is rather a long story, soldier, but suffice to say that if your sense of who the Caldari are were correct, my people, the Achura, would not exist. The Caldari megacorporation Sukuuvestaa ("SuVee"), which has been on our world for centuries now, would have indoctrinated us or rendered us extinct and taken our world away. Instead, we are a client people of the State, permitted to live in our own way so long as we maintain our own, separate enclaves. We trade with the SuVee (its marketing division loves our artwork), discuss matters of religion with spiritual leaders across New Eden, including Caldari spiritual leaders (it helps that our faith is considered compatible with the Way of the Winds), and keep to ourselves.
Considering that we were a pre-industrial society when the Caldari found us, it's worked out rather well. |
