Why you ask? Remember Caldari Prime? The fire and smoke as a downed Titan ruined the landscape. It took lives! Some clone, some not so...Replaceable! Do you remember?! I do! I was there! (Tee-hee, been waiting to use that.) If the Caldari state fell today it wouldn't make up for the fighting that was caused by Heth and his supporters. Heth deserves more anguish but...I'm not in authority to give it to him. For now his fall from power will have to do.

These are both smaller facts that ignore a bigger picture. The battle of Caldari Prime was initiated by The State, none of those situations would've occurred in the first place had the State stayed in their own little block of space.
