I have recently squaded up with someone I had only seen on the forums. I had considered this person a troll, spam posts written in a angry style. Well after playing with and chatting with him...he is a decent, intelligent person.
I now have more sympathy for the angry ones, as it seems some of them misrepresent themselves because of their frustration with the game. |

Maybe they don't write angry posts because they are trolling, but rather they write angry posts because -try to keep up with me here- they are angry. |

It's mostly a lack of tact from their part but sometimes I think it's misinterpretation as there is no sarcasm font. |

But this is pretty much an ad hominem in reverse since the person behind the argument shouldn't matter in the first place. |

Well, I like him as a person. As far as his posting etiquette, that is crap. I still am opposed to expressing yourself in immature, unproductive ways, I just dont necessarily think it means they suck at life anymore... just at behaving like an adult on the forums. |

a lot of trolls are just salty vets who tried their hardest to help CCP improve their game with brilliant posts, but after being ignored so long, have decided to troll the forums because CCP keeps ruining their game. |
