I have noticed that Mercs have a crap ton of ISK, and nothing to do with it. So a feature should be added where we can convert ISK to SP once every week. The conversion rate would be 50 ISK per 1 SP and cap at 100K SP per week, or 400K SP a month. So it would cost mercs 5M ISK for 100K SP, or 20M ISK a month for 400K SP. This would also allow us to actually see the ISK value of our mercs, for example a 10M SP merc would be worth 500M ISK.
This would be a pretty nice cash sink for us mercs while rewarding us a bit of SP and allow players to be a bit more lenient with SP mistakes. |

great for players, bad for the game. However, I fully expect that DUST will have boosters take on the PLEX model that EVE uses, where you use IRL money or aurum to purchase a booster, which is then a tradeable item. This would be good. Being able to give back ISK (to CCP, not other players) in exchange for boosters or direct SP is a terrible idea in every way.
Any suggestions to what we should do with our massive ISK then? |

Spec into dropships. That should remove your massive ISK problem. On a more serious note, the problem is that currently the ONLY thing we can buy are weapons and suits and that doesn't take too much ISK (nor should it) if your not suicide bombing proto suits. We need non-combat attractions, such as interior decoration, open worlds with travel costs, things to do in those open worlds, etc.. However, all of this must wait for the base gameplay to be functionally established.
open worlds with travel costs ^ This was my first idea but, its going to take years before we see any of this. |

I think the question is also what would travel accomplish. What would a random merc need to travel for, isn't that completely crossing into the Eve Online side?
Well I see it as the actual future of this game will incorporate lots of planets that we can travel across, so the more distant the planet is the higher the cost. There would be two ways to travel across planets by ship, or by a hub within each district that you could access in the planet if it is a owned district or a neutral district. Warping through planets would cost a lot of ISK (that would go to the corporation that owns the district) but they would reap profits if you actually go out and explore the planet, and prove to be a loss if you fail to make it back with whatever you find. |

1.) we need more things to blow isk on because really, I am not dropping a boat load of isk anymore
2.) PC is allowing me to make lots and lots of isk -
An idea I had was- let me purchase a increase in my skills cap for that week- or month, or day- I think thats a decent trade- CCP would not be giving me more points only ACCESS to more points for a week or for a day-
This is similar to buying boosters with isk. |

I have a feeling the market will bring in cheaper items with player created items and some corps turning into "Walmart" |

There should possibly be an option to allow for decreased time spent grinding like a 2x multiplier on what you earned for the match while draining your bonus SP twice as fast.
Hold on to your ISK for the player market so you can buy officer weapons at vastly inflated prices.
Give it away 30M at a time to allow smaller corps to attack in PC.
400K sp is less than what you can make with a booster a month, so it really isn't that much. Specially at a cost of 20M ISK that would require a crap ton of playing. Also its the other way around, in the beginning officer weapons will be inflated but once more and more corporations make them they will become mass produced and very cheap. |

Also its the other way around, in the beginning officer weapons will be inflated but once more and more corporations make them they will become mass produced and very cheap. Individually 20m is a lot to make on your own, but if you are in a corp with profit sharing that is making money off of their districts 20m isn't that much(Ill Omens were giving out 10m a week to those who participated in PC). This would just make the SP disparity even larger. Also, I don't expect officer weapons to be manufactured, only found as salvage(from what I've read this is how it works in Eve although I may be wrong).
This is true it has the potential to widen the SP gap but it does add an incentive to get your corp out there and make some ISK. Also 20M is a lot if you only cap and passive all month long, but if you actively play you can make 20M in a couple days. |

Then you will see why many of us are saving ISK.
With the amount of money EVE players have, and the amount of greed that runs the game, chances are there will be hundreds of corporations making thousands of items at low prices trying to undercut each other. |
