Different dropsuits do have different signatures (with the scout having the lowest) that make you more or less likely to be picked up by an enemy scan. You can of course influence this with modules and the better the scanner the harder it will be to hide from it. GÇ¥

Is this statement still true? I'm almost positive that if I'm walking up to an enemy, i'm detected far less often than if I sprint toward them - same applies to crouching.
Q1: Will this show me up on the radar (inside their suit's scan radius) more if I am doing the above actions?
Q2: Does Melee affect the above?
Q3: Does charging up Nova Knives/Scrambler Rifles/Snipers/Forge Guns have any bearing on the above (i.e. .. while you're charging are you showing up more ?
Q4: While Hacking/ Counter-hacking - same question as above.
Thanks very much for your help
My observations:
Q1: Walking ABSOLUTELY makes a difference! i play primarily as a HMG, and my motto is "Fat boys don't run!" for exactly this reason. as far as i a am aware, the sensors pick up sound (decibels) to identify a target. that is why, for instance, you are encouraged to use the scout suit, as opposed to the Logi or the Heavy suit, when sniping because the decibel levels given off with the scout suit are significantly less than that with the other suits. i have snuck up on targets many times by walking up to them, when i run i ALWAYS get picked up before i get to my destination. reloading your weapon also shows you morefor the same reason (ie. the sound given off when reloading)
Q2: i am not sure, but i think so. Melee will give you away, but i think you have to be close to the target to get picked up by their sensors.
Q3: i cant speak to the Nova/Scrambler/Snipers (even though i did snipe in the previous build), but i am sure that the Forge does give you away when you hold onto the charge. if you notice, it makes a noise, and similar to the above, that can be picked up by the sensors.
Q4: if you hack a point you show up on the map, that includes CRU's, Turrets, and opposition vehicles also. it is very faint, but you still show up on the enemy radar, if they know what to look for.
