there are, plenty of people have made chat channels to squad up with people. Like in EVE the Local chat channel is restricted to the system you're in. Local chat is always weird......... |

Maybe we could start a list here to help players find more squads if nobody in their corp is around or if they're new players, etc. I think a "Looking for Corp" chat isn't such a bad idea or an Eve/Dust chat, etc. Bringing the community together within the game itself helps keep the game feel more populated and alive.
