DS3 ONLY HELP
Ok, i'm just going to tell you that aiming in chromosome with AR's were sooo much better, I wouldn't say easier or easy mode, but you could actually get a good gun fight on both sides, while today it's usually lopsided.
1. Most AR's use KB/M, some don't, like me. Please do not put your sensitivity 50 or over until you have mastered 20, 30, and 40. The main issue most people are having are: Overthrowing the enemy with your crosshairs/ironsight.
2. Overthrowing your enemies. 1 way to help: Strafe: Basically you line the crosshairs/ironsight on the target and shoot, without even touching the left analog stick, this causing you to attack 100% the direction you're shooting at, causing you to not overthrow enemies. But if the enemy moves, ( which he/she will most likely do ) reline your crosshairs on him again, in case of continuation of enemy movement, which most people will keep moving back and forth, you need to practice lining up your target and moving it at a moments notice. And keep doing it, until he/she is dead, or if you unfortunately die.
3. Dieing because enemy is hitting you. A lot of skilled players can continually put bullets on you nonstop, even if you're strafing. In this case I recommend you going in a circle strafe, in a continuous movement like this ---> O <--- if the player still is hitting you hard enough, and you have yet to kill him, do a figure ate, in a continuous movement like this ---> 8 <--- remember you can switch the direction whenever you want during any kinds of strafing, and you can continue to not use the left analog stick while doing circle or figure eight strafing.
ALSO: Due to me wanting you to start at 20 sensitivity, if an enemy gets behind you, please jump while turning the other way, or if you can, run to the nearest cover.
I hope this helps, message me ingame if you need more tips, I specialize with forge guns and LLAVs, but know what is going on with AR's, as I have them on my caldari advanced suit, I also can help on MD's. |

Thanks for the tips - I find it really hard to resist using the right stick though. Particularly when I use a heavy suit (so I can last long enough to get more of a feel for combat) and they like to 'shoulder past' me to try and take advantage of my turning circle.
How do you mean with doing a circle? Just do a circle and when your cross hair overlaps the target, fire then? I tend to try and strafe to keep on the target? Is it better to just go around in a cirle and take short controlled bursts when the cross hair lines up? |

as a heavy it is most likely the enemy will get more hits on you because of a slower and bigger suit. but yes, controlled bursts when the crosshairs go on the enemy, if he happens to start winning, then you can aim.
circle = a kind of strafe. strafe is the definition of trying to dodge an opponents bullets. So you can do a circle strafe which I find is the best. Just remember to change the direction of the circle during the strafe to knock the enemy off balance. |

My normal way I often get fixated on aiming at the target and tend to drift in just one direction. Yeah, all the people who annoy me, just as I'm lining them up, suddenly break physics and are strafing at full speed the opposite direction (have to wonder how a FPS where strafing the exact opposite direction would leave you standing still for a second as you account for inertia would go).
It's hard to give up the urge to aim and often when a target shows up it's in the peripheral of my view so I have to turn, making it hard to figure when to let go of the right stick.
But I've tried some of the circling and firing when lined up - I atleast seemed to live a bit longer, it seemed (which is good if any team mates are around, even if you die, since atleast they might pick the guy off and I'll atleast get a kill assist - I'm great on the kill assist leaderboard...oh wait...) |
