Well..... Theres a lot to look at in regards to this. Today Im just going to go over the Top Three corps in terms of land holding power in PC. Those corporations are, in order of power, Hellstorm, TeamPlayers, and Seraphim Initiative.
So without any further delay, here are the stats regarding how many districts each holds, what types of districts each holds, how much money they generate now, and how much money they could potentially be generating (all these figures are estimated assuming none of the districts are under attack, and they aren't moving clones out of the districts themselves).
Hellstorm:
Total districts held: 30 Total production facilities: 4 Other: 26
Current clone sales revenue (assuming all are online): 248,000,000 : Two hundred Forty Eight Million ISK per 24 hour period.
7.440.000.000 : Seven Billion, Four Hundred Fourty Million ISK per 30 Day period (average month)
Clone sales at maximum (assuming all districts are converted to production facilities) 300.000.000 : Three hundred Million ISK per 24 hour period
9.000.000.000 : Nine Billion ISK Per 30 Day period (average month)
That sums up how much money The hellstorm Corporation could be making at maximum. Of course their not making exactly that much due to either clone sales/attacks/defends, however that is still within in their capabilities, and i'd assume that there making well over one billion per day at the very least.
TeamPlayers:
Total districts held: 24 Total production facilities: 7 Other: 17
Current clone sales revenue (assuming all are online) 206.000.000 : Two Hundred Six Million ISK per 24 hour period
6.180.000.000 : Sixty Billion, One hundred and Eighty Million ISK per 30 day period (average month)
Clones sales at maximum (assuming all districts are converted to production facilities) 240.000.000 : Two hundred Forty Billion ISK per 24 hour period
7.200.000.000 Seven Billion Two Hundred Million ISK per 30 Day Period (average month)
And so that sums up TeamPlayers...... A lot of money huh? Might not be as much as hellstorm but jeez..... I thought this game was supposed to be an ISK sink for EVE Online..... how is that gonna work out?
Seraphim Initiative:
Total districts held: 11 Total production facilities: 3 Other: 8
Current clone sales revenue (assuming all are online): 94.000.000 : Ninety Four Million ISK per 24 Hour period
2.820.000.000 : Two Billion, Eight hundred and Twenty million ISK per 30 day period (average month)
Clone sales at maximum (assuming all districts are converted to production facilities): 110.000.000 : One hundred And Ted Million ISK per 24 hour period
3.300.000.000 : Three billion, Three hundred million ISK per 30 day period (average month)
And that's SI in a nutshell!
CONCLUSION:
This is how much money the top three corps could be producing per month if they were to form an alliance! 16.440.000.000 ISK per 30 day period (average month). That is..... Enough to pay for 27 EVE Online pilot subscriptions Every month OR to pay for one Pilot's subscription for About Two years (only that amount is made every month)
In FACT I want to emphasize that this amount of money is generated EVERY 30 DAYS, and rivals some of the largest EVE online ALLIANCES in terms of money making ability.
So what if all the districts are converted to production facilities?????
Net amount would be: 19.500.000.000 ISK Per 30 day period (average month)
CCP has said they were hoping this game would be an isk sink for EVE online (to help fight inflation) Well..... I hope they have a tax from dust to EVE whenever they decide to open up isk transactions between us, because if they don't Dust is gonna break their economy (lols).
So yeah guys I just want tot throw a disclaimer out there and say: These numbers are based off maximum values, assuming each corp has every district in an online status. Don't get me wrong, there still pumping out crazy money, just not as much as they have the capability to do. Plus theres always the chance there was an error in the math I did, or I missed some districts but that's unlikely. So yeah, Discussion time? (BTW these numbers are based off clone sales on the 10TH of July, the PC balancing patch isn't coming until tomorrow on the 11TH so I don't know how that will effect the statistics)
DISCUSSION: What do you guys think of these figures??? Do you believe them (trust me the math is pretty sound.....) How much does your corp make?? Its a lot of money if you consider that the most money ive ever had is 300 million. Idk..... This wasn't fun after I realized all my figures were off by 1 digit (had to go back and change all of them)..... but yeah! discuss this!!! Is Dust really that much of an ISK sink for EVE???? Do you think CCP will keep these numbers the same as they open up more districts? |

hmmmmm Not sure exactly what the point to it would be. Right now there isn't, for whatever reason, a lot of draw towards owning land. Yes it makes us ISK, but whats the point of having ISK??? Aside from running proto suits in pub matches all day?? Theres nothing to work towards aside from unlocking suits/fits. The only thing ISK could get anybody right now, is more isk. If your a corp with that much land, you could potentially buy out other corps for a lump sum of money. You could also hire people like crazy too. But other then that there isn't much. |

I had 100,000,000
I stopped caring about losing money on proto suits
I have 68,000,000 now
I still don't care |

Iron Wolf Saber wrote:There will be a tax when they open up for trading between us and Eve, CCP been saying this since before fanfest.
That tax may go away one day once our work effort isk is equated to the same work effort isk of Eve.
One interesting fact though is how much isk Dust 514 BURNS though, from the days of the beta to fanfest we burned though more isk than all of eve had in wallets and that my friend is a scary number.
Either ways Marston nice work you get a +1.
Quote:"I hope they have a tax from dust to eve"
Yeah, I remember that being said at fanfest. The whole "Dust has burnt more then EVE has made" thing. I agree, there probably will be a tax going back and forth. But I also remember someone asking a question at the end of that presentation and they asked something along the lines of "if dust can burn through that much isk, doesn't that mean there producing that much, and the sink you guys (CCP) have wanted will inadvertently turn into a faucet?" CCP's reply was something along the lines of "if we need to will put a tax on dust to eve transfers" Which is a pretty simple short term solution I suppose! |
