Hello, this might be a one in a million shot but I'll take it. CCP GIVE 3x sp week for every week of 1.3 it will reward those loyal and get new players to boost their sp fast.

Does anyone have a rough estimate for how many million points it takes to make one decent proto fit? That is how long it will take new players to have a fair chance in Dust. |

If you can't beat a proto with Militia or standard gear you won't be able to beat him with protogear. |

I can see them doing that for new players. Maybe until about 3 mil SP or so. |

In a straight up fight, no. You'll need flux grenades, surprise, and cunning if you want to consistently take out proto guys while in militia/basic gear. Or hop into a LAV. |

3x SP event was great, both times it happened I played non stop almost. I personally think CCP should have 3x SP either once a month for a week, or every two weeks for 3 days. Booster sales would skyrocket. |

If you run at him guns blazing. But guess what: You can also use cover if there aren't chest high walls and a special cover system. It's just awesome taking out Protos with the Militia rifle. Sometimes I do it for fun to annoy them.
Due to the fitting system many people are quick to say "PROTO GEAR IS IMBA! WE DON'T STAND A CHANCE!" when the biggest difference is that the protos just have more experience. The gear difference is not really a problem. |
