Hnolai ki tuul, ti sei oni a tiu! Kanpani! May I remind you that your absolute loyalty is still expected by the state, we are not liberalist Gallenteans sir. Forgive me Ouryon-haan, the men have been needing a good boost of esprit de corps recently. If anything, I aim to reinforce heiian by celebrating a brilliant corporate maneuver on the part of the State.
Believe me, I am loyal to our State. And if you would allow, I aim to prove that by helping Mordu's Legion drive every Dragonaur out of Caldari space.

If those Gallante scum lay one hand on him there will be hell to pay. It is our job to string that traitor by his entrails, and if they deny us that satisfaction of bringing Heth to justice then you can be sure we will finish the fight that was started on Caldari Prime.
I can only pray to the Winds that the Legion's peacekeepers will do the honorable thing and turn him over to State authorities.

Respectfully, Fae-haan, it might be that the Gallente would be sensible enough to turn Heth-hnolku over to the State. After all, nothing would please the former executor more than martyrdom at Gallentean hands. If they are clever, they will forego vengeance in order to disarm the former executor's legacy. Of course, you can't depend on everybody, in any society, to be clever, or even sensible. Um, also, turning him over might lend fire to the belief of some of his supporters in the State that the CEP is under Gallente control. Still ... that seems preferable to a show trial in the Federation that could secure his legacy and annihilate any chance of peace.
My exact reasoning as to why we must secure him ourselves, Gallente space or no. Heth is our man, and I will not allow the Gallente even the possibility of starting a war by executing Heth. That in mind, I am not so blind though that I can not see that war is already on the horizon. We owe the spirits that much for what we allowed to happen to our proud homeworld. No, what I will not allow is for this war to be spawned off the martyrdom of a tyrant who will be remembered as a hero.
If Heth dies at the hands of the Gallente, that would be seen as an act of war. Swarms of men and women will rally under the rage against their intervention, all under the memory of that animal. A new generation of Dragonaurs will rise, all for a universe free of the Federation, or any other power that threatens Caldari supremacy. This can not happen.
No, if there is to be a war, then allow it to be on our terms. I will not allow the Gallente to execute the man so he may be buried in a golden crypt. If they are smart, they will locate him and pass him over to us. If not we will take him by force, and we shall hang his body from the wreckage of the Leviathan were so many Caldari died at the hands of his incompetence. We will enter a war not as a scattered people, but as a State determined to finally end to a universe that allows such madmen to spawn. |
