What do they do? When ever I use them on someone it says something along the lines of "No margin of Error"

Do a forum search. It will answer your questions faster than me retyping things out. |

You don't use them on someone, you use them on an area and they scan a wedge in front of you for enemies and pastes them on the map. No SP, very support oriented, wrecks stealthscouts and very useful in areas with short lines of sight and high cover. |

It picks up anything red within the scan radius and stays on your team's radar for a duration based on which scanner you use. The no "margin for error" message means that there were no scanning errors. |

What do they freaking do and how to use them? When you scan, the area of the scan (visually and on the mini map) show all enemy units and equipment for a few seconds but only dropsuits that have a scan rating above the scan detection limit which also changes depending on which scanner you use. The margin of error is a cap set on the scanner no error means the scan is accurate, some means the locations of enemies may be off or they were not scanned (mind you this is what i've figured out by my self so that may be wrong) the more you move the more likely theres an error. |

I believe theres 2 types of messages, no margin of error means it was scanned successfully, some margin of error means you werent able to scan someone meaning its probably a scout with a lower scan signature that cant be tracked. |

They scan the area in front of you for a specified distance and angle arc for enemy targets. Currently, I don't think it is working correctly. I tried using them on my scout a while and the lack of WP earning capability over say stable drop uplinks turned the tables for me on which to pack. Though if you use them correctly it can help you sneak up on an enemy. Warning though is when it scans it is highly visible(the scan is hella bright) so people can see you from a distance and it draws sniper fire. |

Now this may have been fixed since the last time I used it but they don't seem to work correctly unless you're not in a squad showing up for them but not yourself.
Can I get a conformation? |
