As triple SP week comes to close this week, the fight to get SP to power your mercenary continues. Thanks to a great week of all that wonderful SP that came I was able to gain two advance suits and get some of my core upgrades leveled up. I know alot of Dust players were putting in some long sleepless nights, cranked up on all kinds of power bars and energy drinks trying to utilize this time to get some extra SP, I've had some great battles late night this week. I've also come to the realization that in Dust if you put the time in, the payoffs are huge with gaining Skill points to get those great suits, weapons, modules and vehicles. This week I seen some cool equipment I want now but I have to get the skills first , so as usual I will continue to keep battling until I finally get my character how I want. This week I learned alot about how to manage my SP so I can be more effective in battle so to all you Dust players out there, I just wanted to know what did you invest your skill points in and how much SP did you earn this week? |

Most of the SP I gained this week was put into my new dual Scrambler Pistol fitting.

took damage modifiers from 4 to 5, armor plates 1 to 5, dropsuit electronics to 2 and engineering to 1, dropsuit core upgrades to 4. My Dren sentinel is starting to look good, especially for a blueprint. This past week has gotten me spoiled though, it is going to be rough going back to the standard SP grind. |

Since this character is worthless (alas, a scout), I mainly played on my Caldari Shield tanker, and turned him into a Forge Gunner, and am close to being able to start putting points into proficiency.
As for worthless little me, I'll probably just accrue SP, and not spend any of it, provided I can muster up the courage to basically torture myself (aka: playing as a scout). Perhaps I'll just AFK on this character till this event is over... and hope that the future is bright. |

I got dropsuit electronics and engineering to 5, now I just need 2 levels of active scanner and 1 level in dropsuit core upgrade skill and that whole tree is maxed. It will take me two weeks...the dopamine hit will be intense. |

Yeah I got nano circ 5, biotics 4 and 5, and kin cats 1-5.. it was glorious.
13.2 million - 14.9 million in 3 days... pretty huge bump for me.
now I need to get core upgrades, electronics, and engineering all to 5 to actually fit complex kin cats :/... so right there is the next 5 weeks or so. |

I know I saw alot of flaylock pistols on the battlefield but my Gek at long range destroyed em on sight there is know way I'll run up on a guy with a flaylock or mass driver, those weapons are too powerful close range lol I'll just pick em off at range. |

I started the started with nothing in Heavy and got all the way to Level 3 Commando, also took my Level 4 Scrambler Rifle Ops to 5. Maybe not the best idea to work on two completely different dropsuit skills at once, but I appreciate having both an advanced offensive (Amarr Assault) and defensive (Amarr Commando) suit.
Next starts the road the Scrambler Rifle Proficiency IV. |

Over a million SP to buy two skills DS Engineering 5 and DS Upgrades 5. Skills I would normally put off except for the "huge payoff" as you accurately phrase it. The rest is going into buying a new sidearm to 3. |

Took the opportunity to finally take my Gallente scout from advanced level to...almost proto :-o
Kind of feels like a bit of an anticlimax to pour that many SP into upgrades and be left with one completed level-up in a suit that most people would consider torture to play. But I guess I'm a masochist, I like playing my scout wimp :-D |
