Ya we in SyN have done 1v1's in no show PC battles its lots of fun. Had a 1v1 were loser went to our academy for a day (me ... lol), have had 1v1 nova knifes.

But ya its tons of laughs, really wish gladiator arenas were coming soon not 2015 :(

Yeah would be awesome dude. Sucks that it'll take a while before they release the gladiator arena but we have found a few 1v1, 2v2 etc spots that are pretty good, you'd be surprised.

Had a few corp battles tonight with no enemies and we ended up making small 1v1s and 2v2s with bets on them and it was great fun.

Me, Sha and a few more people started discussing about organizing an actual arena where there is no enemy and have rivals go at it since the friendly fire allows us to teamkill. Betting, trashtalking and all that good stuff will be included and you will have a crowd aswell.

Custom rules and everything will be discussed between the contestants and Seraphim Initiative will be pulling the attacks on Seraphim Auxiliaries to get the teams going. It will take a bit of discussion and preparation before we start launching those tournaments and so far we have some great ideas going up.

Think of it as the upcoming Gladiator Arena that's in development by CCP. But before we take this seriously, we'd love to have some feedback from you guys.




PS: Being in the crowd does not guarantee that you won't die.


Additional details: We started thinking about going as far as streaming on TwitchTV everytime we have those little tournaments, giving it more of an esports feel but do not take this one for granted since we'll have to get hooked up with the gear to record.

As far as prizes go, we will definately see into it. ISK will be definately there if people place bets, merc packs and PSN cards might show up but they will probably be off donations.

Another idea im floating is having a forge war. Everyone make a fit, whether skilled into it or not even a militia forge can OHK anyone. Show everyone its not as easy as it sometimes looks

I wanted to observe the proceedings before participating in a duel, but I suppose I could try it out. Are there any gear limitations?

No gear limits but right before the fight somtimes the fighters ask for nades/flaylocks to be on/off.

These fights happen real quick so its not unususal to see to guys have 3 fights in a min or so with diff rules.


This is not some sports arena its alot more dark backstreet ally.

uploading now to youtube, it will be done in 7 hours, which is a bit ridiculous since i managed to cut the vid down to a little over ten 10 mins. Most fights are in, though i think i may of missed a few as i was running to change fits at a supply depot.

This should not have a massive effect. Well unless SI ends up havign no districts. As long as we have a few we will run this event becuase dam if we aint having more fun in this than anywhere else.

It was so much fun that I am going to spec into LAV's and survive those proximity mines

I heard he had to pause the upload two days ago and that it literally takes a ridiculous amount of time to upload something like 7 hours but aside from that he said he'll post it as soon as it's up.

After doing some research into Thunderdome, we thougth we would come and watch, see what the crack was. But were not planning on getting involved. We had infact arranged our own LAV Grand Prix.

Sitting in the war barge, i get a mail.. "we have 2 more guys than you, should we get rid?" Or words to that effect.

I chat with the chaps in DSI and while there were some sad faces about not LAV racing, it's agreed that a fight could be a giggle.

So i reply, "Nah, stay as you are, we were gonna LAV race, but a fight sounds good..." (again paraphrasing)

The reply comes back "LAV racing is on!!!"

So we call up LAVs and head to the start finish line... Gentlemen start your engines...

It should be no supprise, it didn't take long of the racing to turn into... "lets kill each others LAVs"

While personally I didn't kill any SI guys, I think... I did kill 9 DSI guys, which.... well, I've wanted to do for a long time.
