MINMATAR + 1 Low powered module Gallante +1 High powered module
This way the Scout suits will go back to their default 6 slots like in chromosome , and still 1 less than regular assaults.
+ CPU / PG
A CPU and PG increase of 8% so they can fit decent equipment.Its not possible that after putting in my Ishikune SMG i cant equip almost anything else... (Im running without 'nades or equipment ATM).
Im sure that with only this 2 changes scouts will be useful again.PS:Give use cammo already. |

I think this is spot on, save the CPU increase should be closer to 20%
A proto scout with fully maxed out CPU skills is 302. That, as you rightly point out, is too little to even run proper nades/equipment. An 8% increase would kick that 302 to 326 or so. Adding another slot on top of the inadequate CPU will just squeeze the CPU all that much more making the extra slot kind of useless and not addressing the CPU shortage even without the slot.
A 20% increase would kick it to 362 or so. I think that would be critical to make the additional slot useful. And still, that probably wouldn't alleviate the CPU squeeze. I'd think if CCP were to address all of this, they'd have to test it out realistically and adjust the CPU/PG accordingly. I never feel a PG squeeze on the suit, but I can't tell if it would be a problem after a slot/CPU bump.

Yup you too.
Nah man as it is my Proto minmatar has 250 CPU and scouts are not meant to b CPU-PG powerhouses. With 8%+ CPU PG the minmatar would get to 270 CPU & 64 PG at proto level, leaving some usefulness to the Passive CPU/PG skills and the weapon fitting custom (-5% PG-CPU cost per level after proficiency lv 4 is acquired). Gallante would end with 290 CPU and PG:64.
If you give them a 20% CPU-PG increase thats 324 off the bat without passive skills, and thats more than Assaults have (with 300-350 CPU) and they have to fit 7 slots. people would whine since it would be too easy to fit complex and proto gear.
@ Rich o : A second equipment slot would be good in a suit that has only 1 light weapon, or a suit with 5 total high/lowered slots, L, S, G. We'll just have to wait for the other racial suits,see what they bring us. |

well i would LOVE the extra slots on my suits, but consider that scouts cant have much pg and cpu, of course we should have enought to fit a proto suit with complex stuff, and the deal is that many of us have a different scout strategy, but we only have the not so effective sneaking unit called the gallente scout(my suit), although considering the amount of stuff that low slots can be fitted, they are amazing for scouts, but that makes the gallente kind of not a good armor tanker, plates would only make it a less useful assault, the gallente is a excelent anti radar scout but radar doesnt works, and the minma is a gun and run scout, we need something, cloaks would solve many thing BUT not all of them, also shotgun hit detection fix is something we need |

Well the cloak they adding will make you transparent as apposed to complete invisibility and movement will weaken this effect. The fact that it's also going to be an equipment item kinda makes me think an extra slot would be useful as I like dropping uplinks for the team but getting to a good location can be difficult. |

we are not as fast as its needed in order to survive. Want us to be weak? fine, then give us +1 movement and sprinting speed.
whats the use of being fast with all the auto aiming duvolles that CANNOT be dodge? The profile dampening hat is almost useless? The scan range + precision that doesnt work? |
