I know how to fix the game
All those qq about sprinting strafing aiming... can be fixed with 3x HP everything.
More time needed to kill someone = more time to aim = more time to strafe = more skills involved = lag will have smaller impact.
which part of this thread is non constructive? |

On another note: the ehp of all dropsuits were flattened because many were upset about the prototype suits being too powerfull so I'm not quite sure ccp would be willing to change them again *shrugs* |

Terrible idea.... Terrible.....
As someone who uses Milita gear to keep balance and fun in fights. I've found that pointing down a proto user with full tank on can take forever if you only get body shots. Its like shooting a .22 at someone in Kevlar, it isn't going to phase them. I can only imagine what 3x HP would do. |

Nah.
Remember they added the 10% damage to all weapons because they removed ammunition from the game. Hives were cut in half and Mercs were having to run out of fire fights to find ammo. Very boring in an FPS. The reason stated for the 10% was it was taking too long to make a kill.
The current balance is about right. 3xHP would mean ambush battles would last 25+ minutes and a skirmish would be double that.
With the standard SP pay out what would be the point of even logging in? Passive SP would actually be more fun. |

lol "this is New Eden" Dust is nothing like EVE you can't apply the this is New Eden comment to Dust, someone ganked my 2.1 bill Tengu in high security space to make a profit that is New Eden i spent over a month on that ship. Dust 514 is a game where prices are petty and their is barely any content I would never apply this is New Eden to Dust 514. |

Not silly. That's just how the game works. If you get shot you should think about what led up to you being shot. Maybe you decided to run into the open with no cover. Maybe you didn't noticed a sniper spot. Dust 514 is the first First-Person-Shooter I actively play online. When I started I got shot all the time. Then I started to stick to my teammates and take cover instead of blindly running into enemy fire. Of course I get shot too. Very often sometimes. But more then often I am the top place on the leaderboard with my advanced gear.
The only thing what really gets on my nerves are red line snipers. But well. **** that. I can just wait the rest of the round somewhere else if the enemy decides to camp. |

Actually quick deaths is what we need, if this was a twitch shooter like other FPS where you can die in 3-4 shots, and dying actually costs you something this would be the most tactical game ever where staying with your group and role focusing will actually matter for once. |

This would be a good idea for base HP on suits, but scaled depending on the suit because it actually would make some suits OP. Another idea would be to increase the efficiency bonus for shield, shield booster, shield regulator, armor, and armor repper module passives. This would be assuming that the Caldari logi's bonus got adjusted. TTK is still a somewhat big issue in this game when death costs us money. |

If we have 3 time the amount of health we have not it would requirer 3 times more abuse to kill someone which right now we are bullet sponges anyway, imagine a fight between 2 average proto guys lol it would take 2 or 3 mags just to kill one if they dont run away.
Higher hit points point would make long to medium range marksmanship completely useless and it would just become a deterrent or area denial as when someone shoots at someone they have more than sufficient time to run away to cover the entire game would be reduced to CQC. |

Depends on the situation who sees who first what positions people are in, what range they are at, if one is moving while the other is standing still too many variables to give a 100% accuraate verdict, if both parties are of same skill lets go with average at close range then the caldari will win due to his use of full auto weapons, if hit point at times 3 then the amarr assualt will never win due to the point that his gun is more suited for long range and with that much hp it is easy to close range. |

Exactly my point. Gear/skill would be on somewhat equal grounds in 1 v1. But the biggest issue is that it would help with the missing tactical side of the game and cut down on the run-and-gun ramboing that still goes on. |
