The reload time is actually quite fast. Its the same speed as the scrambler pistol, 2.5 seconds. Check the stats for both weapons |

I'm fully willing to meet you in game and let you test it out, I'll even let you try and replicate your 3 shot 3 kill scenario, I'm that confident that it won't work... I've been running this as my main weapon on a cal suit since it came out almost 2 months ago, I'm not going to sit here and lie and say its not a powerful and great weapon because it is, but it's not the op noob tube everyone makes it out to be, it's got a huge drawback when it comes to shields, that's why I always lead with a flux.
Its a one hit direct kill for anyone less than 270 shield hp for the adv. Flaylock... We tested. You need at least 400hp for the direct hit for armor. The damage is cut in half for blast radius. Reload speed is the same for the scramber pistol (you can check that out on the stats information in game). if you can reload something in less than 3 seconds it consider relatively fast.
If they are going to nerf it, all they need to do is increase either the reload time to 3 or 3.5 seconds or tighten the blast radius. Or they can drop damage level for blast radius to 1/3 |

Actually its anyone running less than 200 hp for armor or shielding. If you have have a direct hit with it, its a 2180 hp damage to shielding, blast radius cuts it in 1/10 so the damge is 195 hp. so scout guys are dead by blast radius, two shots blast radius for meduim, 2 to 3 shots direct for heavy if they are not using extenders. Reload time is the same for the scramber pistol, 2.5 seconds (check the weapons stats.) |

Check the stats on the game, 2.5 reload time which is the same for the scrambler pistol |

It does **** damage to shields, anything over 200 shields and it will take two shots to get it down at minimum.
Damaging armor is where this thing shines, if I run into a group of guys with no shields or I hit a group with a flux, however, I'm not scared one bit, this thing shreds armor and can kill 3-4 in a group easily if they don't have shields.
I think the biggest reason people are pissed is because they're getting killed by it so much, but I believe the reason people get killed by it so much is because it's a finishing weapon, you'll never see me shoot at you with a flaylock if you're shields are up unless I have to.
I'm not bragging and I don't want the flaylock to get nerfed, I don't think it's overpowered, I'm just describing my experience. Of the three I killed 2 at least were running scouts but I didn't have time to take stock of all the suits, maybe they were ****-fits or something, who the hell knows. I'm just saying it's possible. It's totally possible against the right suits, that's why I was asking. The heavy and two others with 3 rounds was the one that I can't believe.
YEAH that abit of a story but, i am sure someone didnt check the stats on the game. Standard Flaylock Actually its anyone running less than 200 hp for armor or shielding so basically anyone who isnt wearing a caldari medium or shield extenders. If you have have a direct hit with it, its a 210 hp damage to shielding, blast radius cuts in 1/ 20 so the damage is 195 hp. so scout guys are dead by blast radius, two shots blast radius for medium unless stacked shield extenders, 2 to 3 shots direct for heavy depending if they are using shield externders. Reload time is the same for the scrambler pistol, 2.5 seconds (check the weapons stats.) |
