I think I hear the drums of war in the these kinds of reports. Stained relations is code for "pissed" in diplomatic speak. I don't want to go to war but we have to do what we have to do. I am hoping they can chill the anger and consternation that this incident has inflicted on our two races. |

One of the major downfalls of any society is the radicals they produce. Republics produce hate mongers, dictatorships produce freedom fighters, theocracies produce religious zealots and tribes produce warlords among other things. I understand the rage but our officials need to realize that the acts of a few don't always reflect the ideals of the group.
My next post is my moment of silence in respect. |

Wars should be fought over something besides a mistake. Maybe the diplomats will work some things out and get relations back to normal. |

This truce to be respectful is a good sign that all four races can work together even if we have out differences. There is no need for a war over radicalized terrorists whom prey on the innocent and incite violence between our peoples. Tragedies like this are unavoidable in free societies and do not reflect social norms or beliefs. Civility in these troubled times is worth it weight in morphite and cannot be overlooked. |

I am more worried about our relationship with the Minmatar than with the Caldari or Amarr. Slave driving facists will get what they deserve for their atrocities. Our Minmatar brethren deserve our respect and I don't want to go to war over a murder that shouldn't have happened.
The Caldari and Amarr are good peoples governed by a sick and twisted set of governments. We may not be perfect but at least we are free and freedom is the ultimate goal of all living things. All things come full circle and 10 fold and we will see when the time comes who is correct. I bet it will not the oppressors. |
