Decided to take the 2m SP I was saving up for pilot suits and skill into a full-on ADV Gallente Logi setup along with proto swarms. ADV needle, rep tool, nanohives, AR, plates, rep, and shield extenders.
I can honestly say that I'm having much more fun and living much longer outside of my tank than in. My first round I went 17/2, followed by 6/0. No more worrying about that redline forger or that rooftop swarm, which have both become food now. Feels better punching someone in the throat with a needle than just sitting there waiting for the AV to get bored.
That said, now I have to worry about 'dem flaylocks :v |

It's so much better than waiting behind a hill for the AV guy to move on. Now I can just poke my head over the hill, blap him, and go along my merry way.
I'd never know how bad tanks are right now if I had not put skill points into an infantry role. It's like someone pushed the "I Win" button for me. |

I'm not going to say that I'm the best tanker, or even a good one. I think I'd pass for decent though.
They were at one point king of the hill and made a presence on the field that was to be respected. With so many proto AV weapons out and about now, they've definitely been knocked down from this position. |
