Blaster turrets large or small shoot the driver out of an LAV no matter where they hit the lav. Even hitting the back end of an LAV will kill the driver.
this one is more annoying than the ongoing one hit kill av nades that kill the person and leave the vehicle unharmed. |

Nevertheless, I stand corrected. I kill a lot more people than I get killed, so I guess it's fine. But there's no aiming, no skill. Just having the right weapon.
Why wouldn't it happen with other weapons? where are my vehicles shields? Others have said it doesn't happen when you're sitting still, why would this be the case?
Very unusual feature. I think CCP needs to investigate more.

It isn't limited to installations, but it is to blaster turrets. I've been driving LAV's for a long time. I've been shot out of the driver seat by forge guns before, but that's not a bug. Someone is either a great shot or they got lucky. It doesn't happen often. The blaster turrets are every single time. Now even drop ships are doing it.
It's funny, I admit. It's fun to do to other people. But if you're the one doing it, you can tell it's a bug. Don't drive in front of the large turrets or they will almost instantly shoot you out.
This is relatively new. It never used to be that way. Now it seems most are equipping blaster turrets on every vehicle to take advantage.
You have a better chance of surviving if you stand out in the middle of the road and let the turrets actually try to aim. Being in an LAV is actually becoming hazardous to survival. |
