Imagine that you were driving your HAV, you are buffed to the brim with HP, but then boom! a militia HAV, one without any mods, or any warning rams your Full-health HAV and you both explode, and he wins the ISK war.
Sounds unfair, and in reality, this happens to me in my drop-ship every match.
my Ship has 5.5k of effective HP, but when the drop-ship, or any other Arial craft, runs into me, I instantly burn into the ground. I have tried increasing my armor, and increasing my resistance, but nothing works against these unskilled players.
as a fix, I would suggest first fixing the RDV so that they have an intelligent system ( would make everyone, not just pilots, happy) and then altering the collision mechanics so that the one with less TOTAL Hp will fall to the ground while the other is left unharmed.
I have worked since open beta to make my drop-ship work, and Today, this is my ONLY problem |

I dont play with vehicles but i agree. Mutual 1HKO is not the solution.
If you have 5k total HP and the enemy has 2500 total HP , IMO, If you collide his ship would get destroyed and you would take damage total to his HP, thereby leaving your ship at 2500....
Its only fair... XD |

I can avoid red pilots. Swarm spam is a pain in the ass; it got to the point where I now have a hobby of driving a starter fit LAV into the enemy redzone and killing as many redline swarms I can find before the timer kills me, if I notice them before hand |

Its only fair... XD Wouldn't work. The game doesn't know the difference between you hitting them and them hitting you- especially with something as floaty as a dropship. |

The game would only need to know the hp of the other ship, so your argument is invalid, as the collision coding is allready there

I think they are quite skilled to ran you at full speed. while you are running from them. takes more work than you would think. also hp is not the biggest factor here, a motorcycle could tear up a car with some speed behind it. |
