I guess a certain amount of AFK'ing is stuff like this.

Well I'm a tanker and for the x3 event I was staying at a mates house and cause I use kb/m and I'm hopeless without them ran bpo infantry suits and weapons
So not to lose millions of ISK losing my tanks.

And I still got To the top of the leader board (1706 wp was the highest I got from memory) sure I changed my tactics. Don't go in guns blazing and aim to cap points instead, which got us through a couple of clutches.
I also earned 10mil
My kd went down, I died a lot, but it was free and I enjoy knowing that if I managed a kill on the proto stompers they were losing ISK.
And I capped 24hrs ago,

I love when folks, like the OP, try to justify AFKing. You could always leave the match and let someone else in -- at least if you do it early enough.

We are talking about a very selfish behavior that makes it progressively harder for the people on the ground to compete (and have fun) as more team members selfishly puss out.

Some of you pusses need to play some team sports and learn how to be there for other people. There can be honor in sacrifice (particularly when it's only a game). Your willingness to suck it up, do something less than optimal for you, for the sake of others says as much about you as hiding in the MCC does

What we really need is a game mode called "afk farming" where you have two MCC's like skirmish but no assets/null cannons on the ground.

Each match takes about an hour and a half as the MCCs duke it out. Should be able to cap in a game or two at that rate?

i afk farm... a lot.

I do it to remain competitive in PC without having to deal with pub matches.

I'll play sometimes when my friends are on, but I would much rather play my new games on steam while afk farming than actually play dust at the moment. (just got the new tomb raider, SO much fun!)

Its just murder taxis and flaylock pistols in pubs atm... not enjoyable at all.

I'm with my corp on this of course. All you afk farmers are just lame, not even a real gamer IMO. I been PC fragging for over 15 years and I wouldn't STOOP to the level of afk farming. If you don't like the game, quit playing. ******* idiots like you farmers are EXACTLY why the server player count goes down a few more players everyday.

Of course I still have my problems with CCP too, I mean what kind of MORONS make afk gaming "Okay"? (The same ones who let snipers sit in the MCC and shoot through the force fields before it was fixed... or pumped TACs way beyond anything else in the game.... or made the new "Speed" heavies that roll around the field with a shotgun pwning like it was nothing... or made the Flaylocks kill mostly in 1-2 shots no matter what.... or... you know what I'll stop with CCP **** ups now, I only have 5000 characters to write this with).

It's like the mouse wheels and every other f'd up aspect of this game. Or how about the meta level 1 tanks that cost 1.6mil fully outfitted and go down with 2-3 AV Nades as long as they are advanced (Meta lvl 3 or higher). CCP should get **** fixed or keep their asses on EVE where it's okay to sit around AFK and wait for people to come through a wormhole and blast them before they can move.


All you tards out there farming should go ahead and make funeral arrangements then commit suicide.... I know I'd be in a better mood reading that in the headlines. You are doing nothing more than ruining a game other people actually might enjoy playing. Don't expect anyone to listen on this anyways, I'm surprised the farmers have the intelligence to even read these posts.... little on reply with any worthwhile excuses as to why it's "Okay" to farm. Stupid ass.
