300/300 seems like the proper armor/shield for the Amarr Commando. I mean, if Amarr is supposed to have more base HP than the other racial variants than I feel sorry for the future commandos considering the lack of mod slots.
Also I'm fine with the base shield delay, but the base shield recharge of about 10 per second is a bit overkill. |

I run the advanced Commando suit. I haven't actually looked directly at the stats, but from what I recall when glancing at my shields going up it is still 10 per second. |

Like i said, is a BIT higher.. not enough to make a significant difference, still needs a buff. but, at least we agree that 300hp / 300hp, and a shield buff is everything the Commando suit needs.. don't make the thing OP, please CCP ... just 50hp to shields and armor... and " little" buff to shields recharge and delay. And considering the two of us together make up 100% of the Commando community on these forums, our agreement should be taken seriously by CCP. |

Proto doesn't seem like a good deal atm, a massive sp sinkhole with not a big hurdle over the advanced suit. What would make it more worth while would be upping the equipment slots to 2 for it, and having the mentioned changes above in place. The commando would be a cool heavy/assault/logi kinda mix making it unique. Having a commando accompany a heavy on the frontlines, dropping an uplink and ammohive/healthhive would be amazing.
Just some ideas. Definitely agree that the prototype is not worth it. I'm not going to sink nearly 2 million SP for one more slot. |

No grenades? what the...Id be interested on how you guys fit em, played around on how id fit it on paper and couldn't come up with anything remotely good when compared to a medium suit. I fit my standard with the advanced assault scrambler rifle, standard laser rifle, militia repair tool, militia light damage modifier, and standard reactive plates. And mind you, the only reason I use those militia items is because the advanced versions won't fit and the standard versions leave excess room. Might as well use the militia since they have the same stats as standard and cost less. |

I call BS here sadly, if you were a really commando you'd know theres no slots on the standard and that militia equipment is worse than standard. We commando's must unite against our foes the assaults Oops, sorry I meant to say advanced commando suit. Also the militia light damage modifier and standard light damage modifier have equal stats, but the militia is more CPU/PG intensive and a lot cheaper. I don't quite recall the difference between militia and standard repair tool but they are pretty similar and again the militia is a lot cheaper. Usually I don't care about cost but when the suit itself is nearly double in price compared to the rest of the suits combined with the fact that a second light weapon costs more than a sidearm on average, I need to consider the values.
My suit now costs about 40,000 ISK which allows me to die a few times while still maintaining a profit.
