*You already have super health.
*You move much faster now compared to scouts since the recent update (believe me, as a scout that can no longer run away from that 'body blender' called the HMG - I know)
*You have basically an instant kill weapon.
*PG and CPU out the wazoo.
*Turning speed being low does not matter, if you can hit the enemy for even half a second they'll die. I have tried many times and absolutely cannot run around a heavy as it turns, so stop whining about the slow turn speed. It isn't that slow.
Anyone who complains the HMG is UP just wants even more of this game to bend to their whim. If you play it the way it's supposed to be played (defense), then it does amazing. Heavies keep whining about their slow speed but you AREN'T SUPPOSE TO BE RUNNING EVERYWHERE. You are supposed to guard one general area - hence the term "sentinel". Right now, I'm a scout and can't even run away from all these HMGs that chase me down across the map. It's ridiculous how far I have to run before I actually get around enough corners to make a heavy stop following me.
So shut and get the FUHK out da way! You're fine! The scout needs some attention.
You have no sense of tactic. How its supposed to be played is this: Heavies take point. Assault, since they are more agile, should be the moppers. They can also be considered spotters, as well Scouts. There are two tanks. The ones that dropships deliver and heavies. You follow beside a tank don't you for cover, right? Heavies should be pushing the line while confident they can do that because a Logi is nearby. The assault guys should be flanking heavies and paying attention to what they fire at. Then you have the Scouts, who should be a little bit more free in roaming because the opposing team is so caught up with the heavies and the assaults.
A heavy shouldn't be standing in one section guarding an area. That's nonsense when the enemy will adapt and go elsewhere to find (wait for it, wait for it) Scouts who are running around sneaking and Logis who feel that they should be followed. And if the team is even a little organized, they wear down those guys, depleting clone reserves. By the time heavies move up to help out, its too late. They are too slow to catch up with the main battle.
So really, I feel alot of you guys don't understand the tactical. Scouts need attention? You are a scout. A scout is given minimal means because of his infiltration aspects. Logis have shotguns but who is afraid of that when you got the other team running with their assaults and heavies looking to mop you up?
This is what I mean, people are not understanding the true nature of their roles. Or better yet, they don't use these roles effectively in combat.
