I think anyone who complains about having a hard time as a heavy at the pinnacle of "talentless scrubbery".
You already have super health. You move much faster now compared to scouts since the recent update (believe me, as a scout that can no longer run away from that 'body blender' called the HMG - I know) You have basically an instant kill weapon. PG and CPU out the wazoo. Turning speed being low does not matter, if you can hit the enemy for even half a second they'll die. I have tried many times and absolutely cannot run around a heavy as it turns, so stop whining about the slow turn speed. It isn't that slow.
Anyone who complains the HMG is UP just wants even more of this game to bend to their whim. If you play it the way it's supposed to be played (defense), then it does amazing. Right now, I'm a scout and can't even run away from all these HMGs that chase me down across the map. It's ridiculous how far I have to run before I actually get around enough corners to make a heavy stop following me.
So shut and get the FUHK out da way! You\'re fine! The scout needs some attention. |

You play as a scout? Since the update, the only advantage we had compared to any other suit was our speed and running. Now we don't even have that. |

Just cause you ran into some good heavies and hmg users doesn't mean That its not still broken.
And the only heavys chasing you are the ones like me who have lvl 5 biotics And are using kinetic catalzer, therefore less hp making your point less valid.
Heavys have no new weapon and the same crap suit. HTFU with your three race scout suits And stop running into my hmg or I will mow your paper m+óch+¬ suit down
hmg for life -bazookah

I'M SO MAD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're crap is fine, if you actually think it's broken then you suck at lifeand at Dust. I bet you suck at every other FPS as well.
CCP stop catering to talentless crybabies like this. Don't listen to anyone who can't hold their own at gun game like him. |

I agree for the most part. The only reason it's not a complete waste is I can't imagine myself playing as anything else. I always play the stealth/ninja-esque character and wouldn't play the game if it wasn't available. In many games that have a "light armor", picking it is like picking "hard mode" because you usually die faster, and I'm okay with that. But this game requires way more effort to make the scout work than is reasonable. |

No, even the devs have noticed something is up. Something needs to be done. With scouts, not heavies. |

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
An awesome person who is stating the facts. Before you whine, look at both sides of the argument - and I have. Being a heavy was easy.
All these people that whine about the heavy suit have clearly not tried anything else and have no interest in getting into a fight that requires gun game. It scares them. |

Are you saying Sentinels should have more HP? That's my entire life as a scout. Only about 300hp. Lol... |

Sentinel means guarding an area.
You have no reason to be crossing a street.
I complain about the map layout, but there isn't one objective that doesn't have an area close by that you can squeeze into where LAVs can't reach you.
If you ever get ran over as a heavy then you weren't playing your role right. If some ******* on the other team drove a lav all the way over to your spawn at thee start of the game and ran you over on your way to the first objectives, then I can understand being upset - but you can call in a free lav so stop whining.
Sentinel - A soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch. |

I reject your decision that I only get to have one playstyle. I will continue to both reject (and successfully ignore) your premise. A heavy suit is a heavy suit. it is not the same as a sentinel suit. Get this through your head.
I would, but I'm very against shoving bullsh!t into my ears. |

I don't know when last a heavy made a thread (general discussion) saying the HMG is UP or the suit doesn't have enough HP. Pretty sure nobody had a problem with the suit other than we're forced to choose a suit that most people didn't want. lolSentinel... people have a right to complain about that joke. Some people like it, and find a use for it, but I'm not one of those people, so my opinion is biased against the suit. Threads made in the feedback section should not be viewed as QQ or whining. Because someone has a different opinion about something doesn't mean he / she is crying or complaining about it. Some of those threads bring up valid points, and pretty good ideas. But hey, here you are complaining about whiners in your whiny thread, while i disagree with you... or did I whine? I'm so confused Perception of an opinion... hell of a thing huh
>I can't remember the last time someone complained about heavies not having enough benefits >People saying heavies need more benefits on the exact forum they would request benefits don't count.

Anything else is what I would be asking you, you derper.
The bonuses on a lot of suits are crap. I'm a Gallente scout - my bonus sucks. I seriously don't even think about it though. Your weapons, modules, and playstyle can easily make up for it. |

Anyone who complains the HMG is UP just wants even more of this game to bend to their whim. If you play it the way it's supposed to be played (defense), then it does amazing. Heavies keep whining about their slow speed but you AREN'T SUPPOSE TO BE RUNNING EVERYWHERE. You are supposed to guard one general area - hence the term "sentinel" (Sentinel - A soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch).
Right now, I'm a scout and can't even run away from all these HMGs that chase me down across the map. It's ridiculous how far I have to run before I actually get around enough corners to make a heavy stop following me.
So shut up and get the FUHK out da way! You're fine! The scout needs some attention.
In summary - Heavies need to stop whining and understand three things: 1 - their HMG is perfectly fine for their role. 2 - Stop whining about being slow, you have so many advantages that it doesn't even matter. 3 - Read a dictionary and figure out why the heavy suit is called "sentinel". You are supposed to be guards. If you wanna move fast, just call in a LAV. Stop crying about moving slow. WTF are you serious the HMG is broke I have to fire over 300 hundred rounds into a suit before they die and that is point blank. I have 4 in profencincy and a complex damage mod and i run out of ammo before my 5th kill. The fact is the HMG is not real world, it fails to replicate what we can do in this time and age and this is supposed to be the freakin future. Those who complain about heavies have not fitted there suits properly. Second I am not going to stand around and guard a small point while the rest of the team is off having fun and gaining WP. As a heavy I only get points from Kills and Kill assist so I will hunt you down and kill you if I can. But if you cant kill a heavy with a AR coming at you from over half the board stay in the red line. Were slow that is why we have added armor so we can take the pot shots from snipers and AR as we drudge thru the muck. Scouts play your role as you seem fit but complain when you paper suits come across a heavy, your suit was not built to take us on. Everyone has complaints about there suits or weapons I myself included, but I will never attack another class because they out played me. Play your role and have fun.
I complained that I can no longer get away from the HMG because scouts seem slower this build - but that's a general complaint for this entire game, not just the HMG. If you feel I "complained" just about the HMG it's because you have bad comprehension skills and like playing the part of the victim so you need to feel attacked in order to defend a point no one even brought up.
In pretty much every video game ever, the high armored HMG carrying character is the easiest to play. It's supposed to be. You get more health and a weapon that doesn't require talent with aiming. If everyone ran around with AR's with the same amount of HP, imagine how many talentless scrubs would rage quit. The heavy armor + HMG combo is a marketing gimmick to get people who have no gun game to stick around and continue to shell out money instead of ragequitting to play some other genre of game. The only drawback is you move slower so you don't get to run side by side with everyone else. That's literally the only drawback, and it doesn't even matter in this game because you can call in free vehicular transportation. I seriuosly can't believe you are whining about not doing well as a heavy. |

Another Heavy SOB wrote: Care to respond Asher? I'm dying to hear what you have to say on this point.
Sure.
Another Heavy SOB wrote: Telling all the heavies we should be stuck camping objectives, forever banned from pushing the frontlines of combat. So you can play exactly the way you want.
How is this even feasible for you to say? "Pushing the frontlines of combat"? You know you move slowly, if you want to be the first one to move on the enemy you are going to be the first one shot at getting all the attention of those fully loaded weapons. A heavy should not be "pushing" the front lines. Let the medium suits do that, then come in as the enemy is distracted. They'll already be weak, and needing to reload. Stop wanting to be Super Rambo.
Again for the 500th time GRAB A FREE LAV IF YOU WANT TO MOVE AROUND. If you want to play your suit to it's strengths, you'll need to corner camp. If you want to move around, get a lav. Stop crying about not being a one man army.
Another Heavy SOB wrote: If we all follow the idea that the predetermined "roles" should be played a specific way and nothing else then you as a scout shouldn't be anywhere near my HMGs optimal. Afterall you're only supposed to be scouting enemy positions in advance of your team/squad to give them a heads up. Instead you've chosen to try to be a Super speed Ninja, rushing into the fray attempting to shotgun/stab as many as you can before being noticed. If you chose that playstyle accept the risks that come with it
You clearly haven't looked at the featured fits, have you? There's one called CQC scout. It's meant to be up close. There's another one for hacking, which is specifically meant to cap objectives, and to top it all off the Minja has knifing bonuses to it's suit - clearly it was meant to be up close, so your argument makes no sense. You are thinking of "scout" in the terms of a verb. As a noun it can entail many more things. Like boy scouts for example don't just go around looking at things, they get involved and learn defensive/survival tactics. Same thing with the military - Navy SEALs, Air Force SEREs - they all learn (extensively) scouting techniques that involve combat. Also, Infantry recon in the US Army will teach you combat as well. I'm in the military which is why I know these these things.
Ever play MGS4? Remember the fight between Raiden and Vamp on top of Metal Gear Rex? "You're a scout too are you not?" And then they fight to the death because scouts, believe it or not, fight.
Also, I definitely do not play the way you for some reason think I do! If I see more than two people, I (try to) run away. If I'm knifing, I only ever engage enemies from behind unless I'm cornered. I never use the shotgun, but if I'm running my SMG, I typically only engage enemies from behind as well, and again, only if it's one or two. Lol rushing into the fray? Lol, I'd be better off smashing my head against a rock.
Another Heavy SOB wrote: Finally, why should you be able to break from your suits intended role of scouting to become a CQC crack head ninja? But all Heavies should always conform to one role, one playstyle never supporting their squads push to take an objective?
You can push to take an objective, just stop crying about how slowly you walk or how the enemy wasn't stupid enough to nicely walk away from their objective, out into the open, and up to your HMG. Your suits strengths lie in defending an area - you can do whatever the hell you want. Just stop wanting to be a one man army at the front of everything killing everyone never taking any damage and being gods among men. Your crap is fine. |
