Armor is underrated
My logi bro can kick out nearly 250 reps a sec with 2 hives and a core rep tool .
No one is coming threw that door or round that corner while we have that setup going ! I just discovered how powerful those things are. Armor is OP |

You brought up something that a lot of people overlook: the SP investment of shields vs armor. Most shield tankers could max out extenders and just buffer tank since shields regen automatically. Armor has to invest in plates and repair modules to be survivable, and then nanocircuitry to be effective.
As far as nanohives go, we need more variants where we can carry more, or at least be able to retrieve them after we're done using them. |

People don't realize Gallente > Caldari quite yet. |

Gallente are the last suits that really need to use the repper hives since you can just regen tank and stack damage mods. Maybe when hybrid sidearms come out, you can free up some space for at least the K-D hives.

I showed someone a Gallente fitting where they can stack damage mods, get 20~22 HP/s regen on their suit, and he went 19-3 the following round, only dying to a LLAV twice, and a sniper. The strafe speed change was a huge buff to armor since armor tankers have a constant HP regen that really comes in handy if you have some good footwork. It also made regen tanking more viable and shield energizers a must have for shield tankers that can't strafe... like CaLogis. |

Because I am having a hard time getting a good regen fit on my assault. Wait, you are probably talking about the Gal logi, which strafes just as much if not worse as a cal logi. Nope, it's an assault fitting and only works because of the bonus: 2x CDM (3 if you have the PG) 3 Complex Reppers 1 Enhanced Repper GEK-38 (Duvolle if you have the PG)
It's pretty much the Gallente version of a Minmatar assault. |

Though my Caldari fit on my alt is way better than this, but it works.
Play around with it for a few rounds, you'll be surprised how much faster you are without waddling around with plates. |

That's the idea. Hit and run tactics with less downtime since you have full armor in less than 10 seconds. With the damage mods, you don't need a buffer because you kill fast enough. Shields can only buffer tank, armor is versatile. |

Shields can only buffer tank, armor is versatile. Slap some regulators on those, which go to low slots (still baffled at that decision), and you destroy any armor suit in both speed, HP and regen. Flux grenades, lasers, and scrambler rifles will eat their lunch 9/10 of the time. |
