Hi there
What I'm looking for:
A corp which is participating seriously in FW. I.E. You have chosen a single race and you have eve-side support with orbitals on tap. Or maybe your services are for hire to whichever FW corp wants you to take over some districts.
A culture of playing to win, whilst ensuring we have fun. A culture that doesn't glorify KDR over all else. A leadership that has a vision or goal.
What I bring:
Played since May 2012.
16 mil SP
200 mil isk
all 4 races of logi suit (ADV)
Minmatar scout (ADV)
hacking specialist (hacking V trained)
AR, SR and shotguns

The way PC has been built, I can't play when I want. Sometimes I like to play for several consecutive hours (well, who doesn't) and at other times I'm away for entire weekends, and can only get online haphazardly during the week.
Sure, I'll play PC matches - but I'd like a corp that has a presence in FW. |

Seems kinda obvious to me, and I did point this out in the OP, but a corp that 'has a presence in FW' will mainly be doing FW battles, will mainly be fighting for a particular race, and will have eve-side support so they have access to starship orbitals. |

Oh I agree there are annoyances about FW matches. CCP really need to develop and deliver the match carousel and FW rewards.
But the appeal of FW battles over instant battles is that your win or loss actually has an effect on the ownership of the district. Over the course of the evening, if you win more battles than you lost them you know your side is doing better. FW battles have the benefit of allowing starship orbitals.
The appeal of FW battles over PC battles is that I'm not tied to a schedule of being available most/all days of the week at the same time in order to defend the district we own. Given that I'm often away from home at the weekend, I simply cannot commit to being a reliable resource for PC battles.
FW warzone control is a proxy for how well you are doing in FW. A corp that is at least partially focussed on FW should be able to see their impact here (yes, I'd like the impact to be more obvious). |
