People are overlooking the most OP, broken weapon in this game... the grenade...or rather, the ability to spam grenades.
What game in recent history allows someone to carry 3 nades? CoD? They took that perk out after CoD 4 cuz it was OP...IKR, CoD balancing their games, lol.
But here in DUST people get 3 nades. The issue with these nades, the dmg is one thing and I'll get to that later, but it's the amount of nades that people have in their pocket, and how fast people get them back from hives.
1 Core nade does 600 dmg (which is a lie cuz i died to 1 core and i had 750+ armor), but you give people 3 of these nades. That's 1800 dmg on paper. No wonder why people spam them! Bad aiming mechanics? No problem, we'll give you more explosive stuff to spam!
The dmg is too much for the amount of nades that people can carry at once. if someone wants a nade that does 600+ dmg, then they should only be able to carry 1-2 of them, that's a simple way of balancing it.
But it might just be me, and my idiotic idea that this game should be about shooting people, and not about who can spam the most explosives win.
Not even talking about the joke that is contact nades. Hands down, the worst idea in ANY FPS ever. Take those things out. Wanna do a "special" grenade, do one with a shorter fuze.
This is not cod thats why i hate that game. dust actually feels like war because you do what it takes to win and have no limits. if you want stupid trash like that go back to it. do you know there are soldiers who specialize in explosives? like grenades -_- |

I like how idiots are quick to say "go back to CoD"...it's funny when a **** game like CoD is more balanced than this game.
Btw, "specialized in explosives"??? lol?... you get 3 nades with 1 skill lvl of grenades...that's specialization for you?.... gg |
