Just wondering what servers do you run Dust on, and whether or not they are using renewable energies.

As you know, an MMO has millions of players logged on and the server can take up a huge amount of energy.

So my question is, will playing Dust 514 damage the environment? Is it Carbon Neutral?

 Thanks,
 Concerned Earthling.

Considering the number of people playing this "MMO", it probably has the same carbon footprint of a Macbook Pro.

So unless you're kvetching about the detrimental effects of housefly farts too, I wouldn't worry about 500 people that still remember they DL'ed this stuff.

I'll be done with this planet eventually. Since I'll be leaving I never recycle, have a car with a massive engine and use extra plastic bag just to annoy shoppers near me.

 LOL carbon footprint... LOL!!
Oh boy watch out! Global warming, were all going to be drowning when the glaciers melt across the world! ... No wait, now it's too cold, so global cooling! We will all freeze to death when the melted glacier water ices over the entire planet! ... Oh it's hot again? Global warming!!!
The thing to watch out for is the liberal footprint, which is much more harmful to humans and this world than anything else imaginable.

Yeah, warmer waters and such give us more powerful hurricanes and tornadoes. The proper way to deal with the issue is via proper risk management -- something businesses do all the time. Take the politics out of it.
