I think what Cat is trying to say is, it's not the weapons performance that is in question, it's the price versus the performance, and he has a good point, the price ain't right, the amount of Isk we make from a match isn't a lot, I can get more from using an advance over a proto, unless I'm doing a PC there really is no valid point in using proto. |

No one is saying they are worthless, but the thing is that extra edge is only really needed in PC where it would really matter, and even then the price is still questionable. |

Well proto was meant to be endgame gear. The stuff you whipout for important game altering matches, but here we are roling proto in pubs. It might not be expensive enough.
I agree, but I don't know if rasing the price is the best answer. |

That is part of the issue with doing pubs, too many Vets are running throwing proto gear away like it's water, but that is a different problem, I do believe the price for proto gear is right, but the performance output is too low for the asking price. |
