Thanks to the increase in squad sizes, orbital strikes are now far too common.
They're supposed to be something feared that happen once in a blue moon, now they happen three times a match 
Even 4000 is not that much, 4000 / 6 = 666.6667 WP needed for each squad member, which is nothing really. |

I agree, it should be raised. Maybe not 4k, but a substantial increase. |

It should be 2500*6/4 = 3750 WP require for an orbital.
If I play in a full squad of 6, we get 2 orbitals every game of OMS... almost guaranteed. That's too often imo. |

CCP tends to err on the side of people and things getting blown up. Its their primary metric of success.

last night I played 7 games. of those 7 games, I soloed 6 orbitals. Just me alone, and I wasn't even squad leader.

The old orbitals were prettier, that's the real issue, people wouldn't complain as much if they were pretty orbitals lighting up the map. |
